The Forest
Offendy smiled. "Rose, EJ." Rose smiled. "I will talk, but I will kill you again, need be." He nodded. EJ held her wrist. "Be careful." She nodded. "What have you been doing in your spare time? Breeding monsters? Wolves?" He smiled. "You guessed right." He snapped his fingers, and two wolves came out. One, male one female. Rose thought of a sword, and a light sword appeared in her hand. She scowled, ready. "Down." The dogs sat. He gasped. "How?" She whistled, and one came to her. The female rushed to her. Rose silently gasped, not knowing she could, do that. The other stayed by its master. She touched it's forehead, and it's black fur turned a pure white.Offendy smiled, and the wolves rushed each other. Hers won easily. "Easy. Ready to talk now?" Offendy sat down. She smiled. Her dog sat down, vigilant. Then he started growling. "You cannot deceive us. Luna knows." EJ looked at her. "Luna?" She pet her dog, and she fell silent. Luna sat down, ungrowling. Around the three, there was ring of wolves. Rose whistled, and only half bounded to her. "These are demons. Some repent, they bound to me. Others stay the way they are. Luna stays with me, though." She grabbed her knives Her dogs attacked, and Luna bounded toward the leader. Rose charged at Offendy.
Offendy grabbed Rose, and EJ ran inside the house. Rose growled, and looked back. She didn't know if she wolves were winning or not. Offendy threw her to the ground. A wolf came out of the forest. He smiled, and Rose gasped. He clawed her chest. She gasped, in pain. There was no blood, just a scratch. She tried to move, and the dog transformed into a man, engulfed in black, like a shadow come to life. She winced as he grabbed her face. "Don't try to escape, Rose. I know who you are." He turned her to look at the wolves. All of hers were dead, including Luna.
She scowled. "What do you want with me?" He smiled. "Pain." She didn't move, but inside, she was scared. He laughed. Tears formed in her eyes, and she almost cried. She couldn't summon fire, or any other element. "Nice try. I love to see you try." He said. He was an inch from her face. "I know all about EJ. How he loves you, no matter what. But when I'm done tearing you apart, he won't recognize you mangled body." Something crashed on top of him, and Rose was free. She looked up, and EJ was right there. She ran to him. "EJ! He-!" He held her. "It's okay. I'm here. He can't hurt you. You okay?" She nodded.
