After hearing her say those words he smiled and said,"If your so miserable why don't I just take your life now." and without so much as a twitch or hesitation in her voice she said,"Fine but make it quick I tired of being here anyway and I sooner or later I was gonna do it myself." The reaper was surprised to hear that statement coming out of someones mouth and a human nonetheless.He would have loved to kill her but the rules say he can only kill human necromancers and not normal humans before it's their time.

It didn't make it any easier for him knowing that her scent would get stronger by the day.The strong scent of death which was almost unbearable but that wasn't all there was another scent in the mix that drew him in in a way he couldn't understand.He paid no attention to it and decided to protect her until it was time to take her soul but to do that they'd have to make a blood pact.He explained what the pact was.

"Reapers are similar to vampires they can make blood pacts with humans and feed of their blood but only to take their soul.A Reaper making a pact with a human means that the human becomes their food.Wile this is dangerous the pact only exists to stop a reaper from consuming the humans soul when it feeds.To do this we have to exchange blood which is the catalyst for pacts."

Ruby didn't really care about what he did so she went along with it.During the exchange in blood she started feeling dizzy and fainted.
