A True Escape
"You don't have to do that." At those words, Julia looked up. It was a girl. She had long, tangled silver hair with leaves stuck in it. Her clothes were cut and ragged, and she had a dagger on a belt. Her face was covered in some sort of war paint. She had a wild look, like a survivalist in the jungle. "What's your name?" the girl asked, jerking Julia back into reality. "Julia. Yours?" "Luna."They stared for a moment. Then Luna said, "I know you are a werewolf. So am I. You don't need to kill yourself. There is a society, called the Society of the Moon. It is like a wolf pack, but more organized and for werewolves. Everyone will be safe if you join." Julia considered for a moment, finally answering, "I will join. But can I write letter to my father?" Luna nodded. Julia quickly wrote a letter, enveloped it, and handed it to Luna. Luna ran off, and soon came back. "Ready?" she asked? Julia nodded, and the walked off into the woods.
