Tick, tick
Tick."C'mon! I wanna go home!" I shouted, annoyed I'm still stuck in a government building, arm still being repaired.
Tock.
"Soon, sweety. Just a bit longer." My dad soothed.
Tick.
"I have homework to catch up on. You know I can't move my arms during these things." I sighed.
Tock.
"You still need to have this repaired. You can't go fighting crime and do school with a broken arm, can you?" My father reasoned.

"Tchk! I don't want to hear any more whining!"

I looked up at the hanging clock, extremely confused. "Did the clock just do the same tone..?" I wondered aloud.
Tick.
"No, your brain is misleading you."
"It did it again!"
Tick.
Suddenly my arm fell off, including some of the flesh. I stayed silent, but felt horror piercing every inch of me. The doctor and my father were panicking, and suddenly I felt cold. Every muscle was about to relax and my eyes were clouding with darkness.
Tock.
Tick.
Tock.
I passed out, hearing an ambulance in the distance.
