Diary of a 4th Grader

Lana Johnson, 4th grader, just moved to town and already hates school. She has to overcome challenges, such as a cheating bully, an annoying girl, and a really loud classmate. Will she do it? There will be sequels to this (all the way up to 7th grade). (Got the idea from bluesister908)

A Friend

Dear Diary,

When I got to school today, Sarah waved at me and I waved back. Ben had a black eye so I asked him why and he said his older brother, John, beat him up and he got hurt. I said I hoped he felt better and he stuck his tongue out at me so I went to my seat and waited for class to start.
In math, a boy named Cameron threw up and we all had to go out in the hall while the janitor cleaned it up. Turns out that Cameron was the boy who picked his nose and wiped it on his pants in the beginning of the year. I told him I hoped he felt better and he thanked me and then barfed again so he had to go home.
We had an assembly today. Alison went up to the microphone and sang "Let it Go," because she asked Mr. Anderson and apparently he said she could. I asked him if I could go up and sing "Roar," but he told me to be quiet and listen to Alison's beautiful voice. I think Alison sounds like a dying whale.
At recess, Sarah sang a song for me. She has an awesome voice. I told her she should be a singer when she grows up and she blushed and thanked me.
