Diary of a 4th Grader

Lana Johnson, 4th grader, just moved to town and already hates school. She has to overcome challenges, such as a cheating bully, an annoying girl, and a really loud classmate. Will she do it? There will be sequels to this (all the way up to 7th grade). (Got the idea from bluesister908)

Nurse

Dear Diary,

Mom said I was well enough to go to school today. All day, my arm itched, and Mr. Anderson wouldn't let me scratch it. Ben called me a "cripple," and Loud Girl yelled at me because my bright pink cast was distracting her. I said it wasn't my fault but Mr. Anderson told me to hide my arm under my desk. I tried to but the cast was too clunky, so I let my arm dangle by my side. It hurt a lot.
The nurse called me down to her office at lunch today so she could feed me some apple slices and mushy broccoli. I gagged, but then she thought I was going to throw up, so she brought over the trash can and gave me a breath mint and then she went to tend to a kid with a pencil stuck up his nose.
I finally got to go back to class. Mr. Anderson handed out the test papers that he had graded from the last time. I got a 50% so I asked Mr. Anderson why and he said it was because I didn't use complete sentences. I told him that I didn't know I was supposed to and he snapped at me that I should have listened to the directions. I started to cry and then Ben called me a crybaby and Loud Girl yelled at me and said I was keeping her from focusing on her work and that just made me cry even more. Eventually Mom had to pick me up because I cried so hard I wet my pants.
