Chapter 2

One Week Later….At the dock…
“Ok, so you understand what to do?” Theresa asked. She was dressed in her navy-blue trench coat with a matching blue floppy hat that stopped her long, lustrous hair from whipping around her face as she and her sports car zoomed around a big parking lot, trying to find either Thetis and her car or a parking spot.
“Yes I do, Miss Theresa.” Jean answered
“Good.” Theresa replied, “Talk to you later.” She had finally spotted Thetis near the boat, along with a mob of other people, that Theresa assumed were also going to Tahiti.
“THERESA!!!!!!” Thetis hollered, waving when her eyes fell on the beautiful woman. “Leave your car where it is! Somebody will go park it for you.”
“Huhhh” Theresa hollered back, stepping out of her car.
“LEAVE THE CAR WHERE IT IS. JUST BRING YOUR LUGGAGE.” Thetis hollered again.
Ohhhh Theresa took her suitcase (which was glittery and gold, of course!) and hurried toward Thetis, her heels clicking.
“Finally. Get on the cruise. It’s almost boarding time, but they said you could come first, since you were a police officer and because you signed up for luxury class.” Thetis explained, ushering Theresa into the open door of the security checks (which Theresa passed) and into the ship.

2 hours later, once everyone has boarded and started to relax…

Theresa, who had already unpacked and changed into civilian clothing, slid open the door of her room and glanced outside. Seeing no one there, she slipped out and headed up to one of the cruise’s many balconies. She felt the cool, salty air on her face, and stopped to enjoy the feeling of being on a cruise, even if it wasn’t exactly as relaxing as it was for the average person on vacation.
“Theresa. You there?” Thetis’ voice rang out in her ear. Thanks to Theresa’s habit of always wearing dangly earrings, Thetis had decided to put tiny computer chips in.
“I’m here, Thetis. Don’t worry.” Theresa responded, and turned her earring/radio off.
After a few moments of tranquility, however, the wind began to pick up. The people on the cruise who were out had headed back inside, but not Theresa. She was surrounded by wind, and she found herself unable to move.
The wind swirled around her, gradually getting stronger and wilder, sending her hair - this time not held back by her fancy hat - whipping around her. Then, just like that, Theresa was unconscious.
