Regretting The Chances

This is a story I have on the app Watt.pad, and I decided to post it onto this too. One question, though... Why is Watt.pad a forbidden word? Is it because it's another website? But wait! Twitter is not blocked! Facebook isn't either! Ah well. Here is my story, I hope you enjoy it!

Chapter 9 Ashley Save Me!!!

<<<Ashley's view! Finally!>>>
I whipped around. I had heard AJ, screaming my name. I saw her, running from some drunk, jacked up guy. And if he had hurt her, I would beat his ass. To late. I was going to beat his ass. With a baseball bat. Where's a bat when you need one???
"Ashley! Save me!" She screamed. I ran past my shocked boyfriend and caught AJ in my arms. She was crying from fear and exhaustion. It wasn't an easy run from our house to here. Or, I reflected, Anthony's. Kyle was obviously Anthony's brother. I glared at Kyle and hugged my sister.
"What did you do you dick? Asshole! You'll pay for this!" I smoothed AJ's hair down, whispering calming words to her. She shook with sobs. Poor AJ...
Kyle looked at Anthony uncertainly. "Umm... I kinda accidentally hurt her..."
"Accidentally?!?!" AJ screamed at him. "You bitch! Fuckboy! You totally did it on purpose, you were going to knock me out!" She struggled against my restricting arms, trying to get closer to Kyle.
"AJ, calm down." I whispered. "Let me take care of this, okay?" She nodded reluctantly, and retreated to Aidan's comforting arms. I walked up to Kyle. He looked at me warily.
"What do you want?"
"Oh, just wondering..." I said, approaching him, still talking, remembering what AJ had told me. If your planning to surprise someone, keep talking to them up until the moment you strike.
"... Why the hell you hurt my sister!" I thundered and quick as lightning, I threw a side punch at his jaw. He lilted sideways, but I caught him with an uppercut to the bottom of his jaw. He was thrown backwards, but caught himself, so I threw a front-snap kick, so he fell over. He cried out in pain and anger. I glared, my eyes pieces of ice towards him.
"Don't you ever ever touch my sister again." I said. Then I turned around and took AJ's hand, taking her from Aidan's secure grasp.
"Thank you." AJ said, leaning into me. We linked arms, and walked to the wooded glade, our new home.
