Chapter 7 Saving Ashley
<<<still AJ's view>>>I ran faster than I ever had before. I didn't even knock on Anthony's door. I burst through, stampeding up to his room, pounding on the door. He flung it open, stopping it with his hand as it sped backwards, almost colliding with my nose.
"What the hell? You trying to wake the dead, AJ?"
"N-no. Ash... Ashley's going ..... Going to Lizzie's..." I explained the situation, his face getting paler and paler.
"Oh shit. Move outta the way. I'm going after her. Stay here."
"Hell no! I'm coming too! She wouldn't listen to me, so now you have to stop her so I can yell the hell at her! My gawd Ima gunna kill her!" He took a quick glance at me and said: "You will stay here or I will kill you."
"F*ck that! Get out of they way!" He barred the way to the door entrance, and I banged my fists on his chest. "Get. The. Hell. Out. Of. The. Way!!!!" I screamed. He looked over his shoulder, but so far no one had noticed. He quickly texted something into his phone, budging slightly the more I hit him. His face was a grim line of determination as he wrestled my hands so he held them, me helpless to move them. We stood like that, me glaring daggers at him and he holding my hands calmly. I drew back my foot to kick him, right at his weak spot, but before I could a heard the window open and as my foot went forwards it was grabbed just in time. Shit.
"AJ!" It was Aidan. Double shit.
"What? I'm going after my sister whether you guys like it or not. So f*ck off." But he only shook his head and pulled me into his arms.
"Look at me." He commanded. When I didn't, he repeated it, but in a harsher tone. "AJ. Look. At. Me. Now." I shook my head and he growled angrily. He took my face gently in his hands and lifted it so I could look at him.
"AJ. Stay with me. We will listen to music, and have our time. Just you and me. Please?"
I knew what our time was. It was when we had a movie going, music going, and we would kiss and sit closely together. I missed doing that, and he knew it. It was one thing I couldn't turn down. But my sister! Ashley needed me! I had to be there for her. I shook my head stubbornly, and he shrugged at Anthony, all out of ideas. He wouldn't force me to do something like this. So he left. Then Anthony called for his brother, Kyle.
"What do you want Anthony?" He growled.
"Take care of her. Just keep her here. What ever it takes, okay? See ya later."
"Okay. Goodbye. I'll keep her in here."
"Thanks. And remember. Whatever it takes."
