Land of Hadoka (Continued)

Chapter 2

        As I walk down the cobble stone path, towards the Academy, I make some last minute studies. Sadly, I didn’t have much time as we just entered the school grounds. For the first time I looked up from my textbook and saw the familiar iron black fencing covered with ivy and the enormous school before me. Its stone walls shone like gold in the morning sun. Well, it was called the Golden Hedoka Academy for a reason. ‘Nervous?’ asked Matty as he put his arm around me. ‘Well, I do have the smartest girl at the school as a sister and as a tutor so I should be fine… right?’ I replied. ‘You’ll be ok.’  He said as he put his arms behind his head ‘You’ve been preparing for this exam for what now, five or six years? You’ll be fine.’  I pray that I will be.

        I walk in to class and see my best friends of all time, Zoey, Nicole, Christina, Shannon and Jamie. I sit in the middle of the five and muffle a small ‘hey! Good morning’ to all of them. I look over at Zoey’s tanned skin and she’s basically beaming with light. ‘I’m soooooooo exited!’ she said, trying to cheer everyone up but with no prevail. ‘Guys’ Shannon said nervously ‘guys I’m gonna fail’ I look over at Shannon with sympathy in my eyes. Her fair skin is now very pale and she’s playing with the lace on her turquoise dress and her long wavy dirty blonde hair. In her gray eyes, small tear starts to take form. ‘Aww its ok Shan. You’re not gonna fail. You’ve been studying so hard!’ said Nicole comforting her. ‘Guys’ whispered Christina ‘Mrs. Dallin is here!’ ‘Hello children. As you know today it the start of a very long exam’ she said with a horrible smile that creped upon her face. ‘So, let’s get too it and do the roll call. Samantha Argo’ ‘here’ ‘lsabelle Light’ ‘here’ I said lazily. ‘Shannon Bell’ ‘here’ ‘Jamie Cor’ ‘here’ ‘Nicole Ironfist’ ‘here’ ‘Abbigail Von Grimm’ ‘its Abby thank you very much’ she replied as she looked her personal small mirror and applied some lipstick. ‘Very well, Abby. On to the next name… Christina Snow.’ ‘Here’ and as she called out the other names I look out the window dreading the test to come.

        I looked down at the first of many tests on my desk:
1.        What are the 9 Main Kingdoms and what race occupies that kingdom?
Answer:  Forelsra- Fairies, Elvenhem- Elves, Atlantis- Mer Folk, Dorami- Witches and Warlocks, Chamazel- Pixies, Shadow Land- Demons, Perlor- Spirit Animals, Eternal Kingdom- Kemi and Kem, Athenel- Giants.
2.        Explain how a Kemi or a Kem uses his/her elemental power.
Answer: When a kemi / kem are of age then he\she will fight for an element that he\she wants. When he\she gets the element, they will be able to unlock the power inside of them called ‘elemental energy’. When they learn to control that power, they can do several new techniques that will determine what carrier they get the future.

        Wow… just 2 questions? Why was I even scared? I’m getting my elemental powers! This should be fun. As I got up to hand in my test, I felt a sharp pain in my nose and I saw that there was blood. Blood. I looked up and saw the woman. The woman with the knife and she said ‘YOU KILLED HER’ and the world when dark and fuzzy as I fell to the floor.
