Oh, it seems like josh going to ask me to be partners with him! Oh what am I saying he would never do that, as my heart sank down slowly..josh says "Hey wanna be my partner? We can do the effect of cold dry ice with the warm waters that have a affect to form smoke?" My heart rose up and pumped so loud, as I get afraid he can hear. "Um. sure! I would love to I mean yes Okay,"I say calmly. I say in my head act cool Ashley act cool.My phone rings, "hold on josh " I go out the class room. "Hello?" I say "hey darling sweetie it's uh me your mom 'sobbing sound' your grandfather.... He's.... Gone...I'm sorry." My head is frozen... Everything is shocked.. Like my brain frozen on the words my mother just said."hello? Ashley...? I'm going to hang up now "says mom as the phone turns to a ring that goes on.. The students are dismissed as my new found friends come over "oh sorry I didn't intro me yet my name is cherry nice to meet you!!"squeaks cherry. "Are you okay? Says Rachel " I have good news and bad news.... The good is josh asked me to be his chemistry partner on a project.. Bad is ..... I say with a pause as a tear forms and drops down to my cheek I mumble is a dark that ends in a soft squeak sound"my grandfather passed away before I could see him.....I have to go.."
