Chapter 2- Court
When I got there I saw movers removing all of our stuff. "NO! STOP! YOU HAVE TO STOP!" I screamed through my tears. 'this cant be happening.. No way mom and dad are somewhere....at any moment someone is going to jump out and scream "Punked" and mom and dad will hug me' I thought. But no such luck. The mover walked over to me seeming pitiful. "You poor child, how hard this must be for you." he cooed sympathetically. "NO! Shut up, you pheasant! Put our stuff back in the house, NOW!" I shouted at him falling to my knees.
All of the sudden I am lifted of the ground by a pair of strong sturdy arms. "Manuel, go inside and get a soda for this girl. Then, I want you to continue packing everything up and putting it into the storage bin. NOW!" The owner to the arms yelled. I was too shocked to move, too busy studying the ground. "Are you Miss Sierra White?" The man asked nicely with a friendly tone. "Y-yes." I choked out. "Well, Miss White. Guess what? You see that house there with everything in it?" he questioned me as if I was 6- that's how I felt at the moment. "Y-yes." I managed. "Well that there is your property. And your daddy thinks it is best if we rent it out to pay for your expenses. What do you think of that?" He asked with a teasing tone. "I hate it. And listen here mister, I don't know you, but I do know if you don't put my belongings back right now and leave with your men, I will kill you!" I sneered in his face proceeding to spit on his clean leather jacket. "And don't you ever call that man, Chris Jennings, my daddy again. EVER. My daddy is in heaven, you here? His name is Joseph Johnson. He loves me as I do him. NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS! Now LEAVE!!" I screamed in fury.
He just laughed, that bitch just laughed! "No can do madam." He cackled like a possessed witch. "You young lady may be the owner but you are too young to throw orders like that you still have to go to court." He chuckled. "Court?!?! What? Why?" I rambled. "Calm down, sweetheart! You have to go to decide who is your new guardian, of course you didn't know this did you?" He taunted. I didn't bite the bait and I just glared at him ignoring the taunting 'Sweetheart' he added in there.
