The Meeting- Part 2

"Well, that was... different... I think me, Rouge, Shadow and Sonic should go. Rouge has stealth, Shadow has power, Sonic has speed and I have intel from the RPF(Realms Protection Force). Its a map of some places which seem to be his base. We can check it out if you like Miles." Tappers offered, with a smirk at the end as she had called Tails 'Miles'. She knew it annoyed him, but inside, he liked it, it made her special. To him, Tappdancing was a special someone which he wished to stay with forever. But Tappers seemed to have other things on her mind.

Tails paused with a smile which dreamers have while having a great dream then was snapped out of his trance by Sonic nudging him. He answered with: "Oh, erm... yes... that's a great idea Tappdancing, but I'll be on one of your communicators, probably you, to guide you on your mission." Tails eventually answered, backing up Tappers' opinion.

"Really Tails?!" Charmy teased, as everyone knew about Tails' crush on the turquoise cat. The rest also had a crush on her when they first met the intriguing fighter, but after a while, only Shadow, Espio and Tails still had their eyes on her. Tappers knew this though, due to her ability to read anyone's mind, unless it has been locked with a spell, then she isn't allowed to. Vector gave Charmy an obvious nudge and Espio walked to another spot in the room to avoid being embarrassed."Quiet Charmy!" Vector exclaimed as Tails turned as red as Knuckles.

Tappers gave a sigh then ended with a: "Can we go now!" as she was pretty annoyed with the two-tailed fox.

"Wait just a minute sis! I want Tails to tell you something." Sonic answered as he held her wrist stopping her.

Shadow got angry with that small gesture. "Get your hands off her faker!" he shouted, an inferno waiting to be released on Sonic's poor self.

Tappers stopped Shadow's anger from progressing and removing Sonic's wrist off her hand. "If its about Tails having a crush on me then I know. I've known ever since and even when the rest of you were after me, which later died.

Tappdancing calmed Shadow down as she didn't want the two fighting each other at that moment in time. She then questioned Sonic, saying "If its about Tails having a crush on me, then I know, but I'm sorry Tails, I don't really want to date you... I hope you understand..." She averted her gaze from Tails to the door and accepted his request to guide them through their mission.

It was silent until Rouge broke everyone's thoughts with: "Come on, we better get going! I've got gems to hunt for later with my dear Knuckie~"

The meeting then broke up, each returning to their jobs as Cream, Cheese and Amy looked for Big. The two hedgehog enemies, Rouge and Tappdancing started their mission...

The group of four split up to cover more ground while Tails connected them from their communicators. They all talked about random things after a while since no one found any trace of an Eggman base, but most conversations ended in Sonic and Shadow arguing.
