The Beginning
Luna, the princess of the night, was sitting in her bedroom, staring out of the window. She couldn't wait to raise the moon again. She LOVED doing it! It was her special talent after all, so why wouldn't she love it? The sun started to slowly set by her older sister, Princess Celestia. She gasped, running out of her room and to her sister's room. For many years did she and Celestia raise the sun and moon. They both enjoyed their royal duties. However, for a few days now Luna has been feeling..lonely. She's felt lonely before, but not as much as this. Was she slowly becoming forgotten and unloved?
No. She shook her head from those thoughts. Her sister loves her, everyone loves her. Why would she feel lonely and shadowed? She threw the thoughts away and knocked on her sister's door. "Tia! Let us in! We wanna raise the moon!" She squeaked, using the Royal Canterlot Voice without shouting. Celestia..or 'Tia'..opened the door, smiling. "Alright Luna, calm down!" She grinned, pulling her inside the room and over to her balcony. As they stood on the balcony, Celestia spread her big white wings and flew into the sky, her horn glowing a pale yellow colour. The sun slowly started to set. As it was halfway down, this was Luna's cue! Luna spread her small wings and hovered into the sky below her sister. She had quite small wings, so she couldn't carry herself that well.
Her horn glowed a dark blue and the moon started to raise. She spread her arms out, her eyes closed and her mouth in a big smile.
When the moon was raised and the sun was lowered, the two young princesses flew back down onto the balcony, sighing happily. Celestia looked down at her younger sister, smiling. "Alright, now off to bed Luna!" Called Celestia. Luna nodded and turned away to leave the balcony and the room. "Goodnight, Tia." She replied, smiling before running down the corridor to her blue bedroom.
