Chapter 2

What to choose, what to choose?It was a while before I finally decided to go through the small and regular door instead of the strange large one. I kept thinking over and over again "You should have gone the other way?!".
       Honestly I didn't know if that was a question or demand, just plain fear.When the corridor finally ended it was a  grand building lay out.It was  jumbo sized and could fit a horse race I here for about three miles worth it.I had guess I looked lost because a lady fair sized and dark brown hair with gray eyes to finish it off.The lady came over and asked me "Is it your first time here? ".I guess I looked lost or something was why."Kind of" I answered quietly but, loud enough for her ears to hear me." In a few minutes we will be leaving, oh and this is Bradean my son." The lady stated with a perky accent.Her son was almost the same.This Bradean of hers looked somewhat like her with his blonde hair with bright blue eyes.Gosh he looks like he was straight from a movie!
           "Hi." He said looking with a far off expression. I stood in the same place and said in return "Hello, -" I paused I wasn't really paying attention to when his thought to be mother said his name." Bradean"He finished off. I don't think he could tell but, I slightly blushed. "Soon my family will be going to Tree Alley, would you like to join us?" Bradean asked me."Sure." I replied "Just watch out for Kya (Ky) my older brother he likes to charm girls.".I stared at Bradean in disbelief and he replied "It's true!". It was true but, for me  it was easy to overcome as long as he didn't like me. I acted strong willed and honestly I can be... A lot."Come on" Bradean said to me.And Kya looked almost the same but, a different attitude towards things and height. I would want to say that to his face then he would more than likely scold me for the...  l would call it a... Complement? I guess. He was a little cute... Oh no I am going to need to snap myself out of it. I ran toward the opposite side of the three people family running into a girl. I whacked myself and turned towards the boys to not look suspicious I smiled not a weak smile or a up to no good Cheshire smile. A thin little smile. "Wait how are we going to get there, Bradean?" I asked him but, faced Him and his older brother. Though I couldn't look directly at either or they would get I have no idea what or why I am here and if I should even be here!
             "Just a portal, and what is your name if never asked."  He replied. I stared blankly in between the brothers and thought should I tell the truth or... "Yes, you should" Kya said to me. What in the world was he reading my mind? "Yes." He plainly answered me. "Kya, just let -" Bradean said annoyingly. "Ohh uh, Ro-" I almost got away with the lie but, the eldest brother just took off" He said your name, Sofia.". I stared at my feet for a second thinking great now I can't lie to this one.As long as he doesn't give me the most annoying nickname Sofie! "To late, 'Sofie'"."Come on boys and Sofia the portal will be closing soon!"
                 Came Mrs. Tonya The boy's mom called waving a staff in the air as if... then out of the staff came colors and a portal! "Sofia and Bradean go first." I looked at her confused like. "And latch hands and you will cross.". Kya started laughing as I turned slightly red with the thoughts being heard by the eldest brother.
"Hurry now, children" Mrs. Tonya ushered us. No,no, no, this isn't happening... is it? Kya looked at me and nodded while laughing like a maniac. I looked around Mrs. Tonya seemed annoyed and Bradean was... calm? What has he never listened to his mom yet? I, myself would be freaking out and Kya was still laughing hyena style. I stood in front of the portal right beside Bradean and quickly grabbed his hand and we fell into the portal. As we fell I let go of his hand but, he was still holding on to mine so it wasn't really possible. Narrowly I missed it but, I landed right on top of Bradean... I was just embarrassed so I quickly got up, but not quick enough for Kya. He laughed even harder than ever. I helped Bradean up to his feet and told him "Sorry" he just replied like it has happened before but, less calm and more excited. I hope just about the Tree Alley and not... The incident that occurred a minute ago.
