Shortest prologue ever!
A broken glass slipper shattering on polished floors was like the sound of a heart smashing violently. That's how Ella felt when she saw her Stepmother demolish her one souvenir of that night. Nonetheless Ella was in charge of her own life now. No more depending on princes or heroes to save the day, Ella was the champion of her own story. It had been a year since the night with the prince. When her stepmom shattered the slipper she also broke down all the feelings and emotions of weakness and Ella ran. It had been a few months since she robbed her first merchant and a few weeks since she killed her first lord. Approximately 8 months since she received her first dagger and sword. She was not clowning around. She was going to try and find her fae godmother. The journey to The Fae Oppidum was beautiful and scenic but appearances are always deceiving. She would set out tomorrow at midday as that was neither near the night nor when there was much sun to enchant spells. As she lay down to rest, her eyes flicked up to the beautiful stars and thought about the times when her father was alive and he would tell her to wish upon a shooting star. A fading memory but a good one.
Sorry this was a super short prologue but it'll get awesome later (i hope)!!
