Camping trip

grizzly bear

it was 5 o clock when we reached the forest. i love camping it is so fun! once we found a perfect spot father told me and Sam to find some woods while he makes the tent. Going with Sam to find wood alone was not  what i was looking forward to.But I didn't want to spoil the mood by fighting so I nodded.So Sam and I l went to the right while my father started making the tent. Finding wood with a torch was easy especially when you have a companion so we got enough wood and we started walking back. Then Sam said " I guess it is better we take some more you see lighting fire is not an easy task and we may waste some of the wood so we should get more wood" So we kept on looking and finally got "enough" wood according to Sam . Then when we turned he asked me in which direction should we go I replied"Any way it doesn't matter but i think left is better"i was thinking why was Sam so nice to me today.I agree to the fact that  we are brothers but.......... .Sam always fights with me .But today  he was sooo nice he didn't shout at me or made fun of me. then I understood why was Sam like this .The second last time we fought mum threatened Sam that if he fights with me one more time mum would cancel Sam's school tour which he was looking forward to.But Sam fortunately thought that mum was joking so he fought with me again .So Sam's tour is cancelled!!!!!!I think he wants me to recommend him to mum.But whatever happens I am not gonna do that!

I was interrupted in my thoughts by Sam he asked me if i was sure this is the correct way i looked and saw that this was the wrong way i started shouting at Sam he in turn said that i told him to go to left.I told him "you are the older one u are supposed to be better at directions"He said to me"OK !fighting is not helping us so it is better  if we stay together"
For the first time and most probably for the last time i agreed with him!


We took many left and right . i made sure not to tell any direction this time.Then we were chased by a grizzly bear!Seeing the bear i ran dropping the woods and seeing me run Sam ran after me .We found Dad and told him everything .We ran to the car and closed our windows.Sam told him that he read somewhere bears don't like noise so we should make noise.We started singing all the christmas songs which we knew and i still remember hugging Sam while we sang.Finally the bear went and we were safe.

Today is thanksgiving and today i got the best surprise i ever had in my life!Dad told us that the whole bear thing was an act played by mum and dad.The grizzly bear was actually Uncle John!Then Sam suddenly said  "i totally knew it was not a grizzly bear i was just making a fool of him"I did not know if i was more angry with Sam or astonished that the whole bear thing was an act played by Mom and Dad!
Then i understood one more thing whatever happens Sam will always be my Fighting SAM !!!!!!!!!
