Victory Tour (reporters are very nosy)
The train went from area to area. I followed the speech on the script because I didn't want to do anything wrong.Nick did the same thing. Everyone in district 3 thanked me for saving Nick. I just smiled. I had also killed Jake.
Back in my area, I tried to avoid Connor. I heard he was looking for me. I didn't want him to feel bad or something... I don't know.
"Sweetie, your friend is looking for you." My mom said. She pointed towards Connors house.
I looked at her. "I'll go later." I finally said. That afternoon I met up with Jake to talk. "I'll be switching back to Crystal tomorrow." I said.
He nodded. "What are we going to do?" He asked. "Hmm?" I replied. "Everyone will expect me to be with Sarah."
I hadn't thought about that. "I really like you!" He said the exact same words Jake had said to me.
"I like you too." I said. That night, everyone was up later celebrating. I peered out my window. I saw the real Sarah being congratulated.
I sighed and closed the window again. The doorbell rang and I trudged down to open the door.
Nick was standing outside. "I just want to get away from the noise..." He said. I nodded.
"Sarah's sister is with Nick!" A reporter shouted. Everyone rushed to the house. I had microphones in my face.
I saw my sister nod. "Um..." I started. "Crystal and I where actually dating before the games." Nick saved me.
Everyone turned to Sarah. "I know." She said. The people turned back to us and we shrugged.
The next day, Nick and I where walking near the local park in his area. "At least now we can be together!" He laughed.
I smiled. "Last night was... Interesting." I replied. "Reporters are way to gossip-interested." Nick said distastefully.
I sighed. I loved the idea of everything being back in place, except with Nick it was 10 times better!
