The Village

Everything in your village is beautiful. The Castle for the most part. Even though the village seemed poor, people actually had enough money to get by. You family has a lot less money that anyone, but you always stayed happy despite that. You helped when you needed to, and everyone in the village knew and respected you.

Prince Todoroki was one of the most popular of the kingdom, but no one has ever seen him, and he's never left the Castle. King Endeavor made an announcement that there will be a gala for any princess that will win the heart of Shoto Todoroki. The unseen Prince. Only princesses will be allowed in. Many girls had bought dresses in the village going to pretend that they are princesses to gain entry. Whoever Todoroki likes, they will be married to him.

The gala was the main thing everyone was talking about now. Everyone has even made predictions of what the prince looks like. Only one week until the gala. Your best friend's dad is part of the royal guard, and she sometimes has access to the Castle. The only princess in the Castle, Fuyumi, has given your best friend dresses she can't wear or don't fit her anymore.

Kiyoka (your best friend's name) wanted to give you access to the Castle, and she found the perfect dress for you to wear. You never really wanted to go, but your best friend kept asking, because she was going herself, despite not being a princess. It was still only one week away.

Prince Todoroki looked out of the window of his bedroom, thinking. "One week... I'm not ready for marriage yet. My Father won't listen..."
There was a knock on his bedroom door. It was Queen Rei. "Hi sweetie. I know how you feel about this, I want to find a way to make it up to you for the gala." Todoroki didn't know what else to say except; "I'll think about it.. Thank you, Mother."

Rei left the room to give him time and space. After looking down on the village, Todoroki finally knew what he wanted to do. He found Rei and gave his request. she was silent for a moment and thought about it. "Shoto, are you sure you want to do this? What if something happens?"

"Mother, I'll be alright."

"Okay, I'll tell a shop owner we need one of their common uniforms."

"Thank you."

"I'll make sure no one knows you're in the village."

"I plan to set out tomorrow."

Todoroki gave Rei everything he needed to get the look right. Now he needed to get out of the castle without anyone noticing. Natsuo burst in the room.

"Hey! What's going on??" He said excitedly. Todoroki asked Natsuo if he knew any way to get outside of the castle.

"Oh, sure! I know plenty of ways! I know a bunch of secret entrances hidden around the palace! I always stay in one when I want to do something by myself. Whatever you're doing Shoto, I'm all in for it!" They all made a plan on getting Todoroki out of the Castle.

The next day, Todoroki got everything ready for his day in the village. Natsuo gave big help in telling him the fastest an easiest secret entrance.

"Natsuo, Thank you for helping. You're a big part of this family, and remember that. Don't listen to Endeavor." Todoroki said.

"Don't worry about me, you deserve this day! But you're honestly the biggest and best in the family. Have a good time!"

Todoroki smiled as his brother went back into the secret entrance. He took one last look at the Castle before entering the village.
