Another Empty Socket!

The Journal James’s POV

I hand the zip-lock bag to Jack and he begins to eat the blood soaked organs! I ask “do you eat any other organs?” he shakes his head no as he finishes the first organ! I ask “can I have my knife back?” Jack reaches into his pocket and pulls out my purple handled knife! He hands it to me and I walk out of the kitchen and back to my room!

I put my knife back under my pillow and do a little bit of research on the kidney eating man in my kitchen! I google his name and the first thing that pops up is his backstory! I decided to flip through it real quick and I read that he was a cult sacrifice that has no eyes! I walk back out into the kitchen to see that he is gone and on the table is a note that reads “thanks for the kidneys! -Eyeless Jack”

I pick up the note and tape it into the first page of a journal! I write down what I learned about Eyeless Jack and then close the journal! I peek out my window to see Jack walking in the direction of the forest! I put the journal into my backpack and lay down in my bed! I am beginning to drift off to sleep when I hear what sounds like someone opening my bedroom window! I open my eyes and look at the window to see that it was open but no one is there!

I get up out of bed and close the window! I feel this cold chill like someone is watching me! I sigh then grab my backpack and walk out of my room! I walk into the living room and out the front door! The outside world is cold and dark as I find myself drifting towards the dark forest! By the time I reach the forest I pull out the journal and begin to jot down everything that has happened over these past few days! I jot down each person on a different page until I hear footsteps running up behind me! I quickly turn around and am met face to face with Homicidal Liu! He asks “whatcha writing?” I say “just taking some notes on what happens in this forest!” Liu asks “can I see?”

I nod my head and hand him the journal! He flips through the pages and stops at one page in particular! He shows me what he stopped at and asks “why am I in here?” I say “because there is something about you that belongs in there!” he looks at me confused then keeps flipping through the journal! He stops and hands the journal back to me! I put the journal back into my backpack and he asks “when did you hear someone tell you to go to sleep?” I say “the day we met! The person stabbed me from behind so I couldn’t see their face!” Liu seems to be thinking about something different! I walk out of the forest and back to my house! I collapse onto my bed and the world fades to black...end of chapter seven
