A Wolves Story

The Beginning

(Huntress' POV)

I fall to the ground aimlessly from the sky with an immense thud.  I get up knowing I can't fight anymore, I'm too weak. I spread my wings in an attempt to fly in right back to the war, but I failed. "GAH!" Is the only thing I can scream with all the pain rushing through me. I look to the ground to try to regain my strength, but what I find is that I'm covered in blood, I tilt my head forward, and drops of blood fall from my head. 'Why did this have to happen to us?' I think with guilt, regret, anger, and confusion. As I think, I see Raven fall from the sky, try to get up and drop dead right in front of me, To the other side I see Shalene running away from the enemy, I breathe fire to try and slow them down, and give Shalene a fighting chance, but, one of them shot her down before I can even take a breahe, and I see her drop dead, I turn my head to the right to see Sebastian leaning up against a tree, he's been shot and he's Losing a lot of blood. I try to go over and help him, but it's so much pain, I couldn't bare it. I fall down to the ground hard, and I start to lose conscious, as everything gets blurry I see Sebastian drop dead. While I still have the strength, I sit right up, and turn my head to the battlefield, only to find everywolf else was dead. I get up on my paws slowly, painfully, and regretfully. I look up to see the enemy leaving, but so much anger rushes through me I scream out "WHAT ARE YOU?" The enemy looks back and stares at me but doesn't attack. 'If we seven are the prophecy how did we lose?' I think with confusion but with focus on the enemy. Then, suddenly, the enemy chrages. I let out a breath of fire but that didn't slow them down, I tried ice, wind, lighting, snow, anything you can think of but nothing made them even flinch. As they close in to seal my fate, I whisper to myself "I'm sorry for letting you down friends..." I start to cry, as they get closer, and closer and closer to me. They wrap they're poisonous vines around me, and the last thing I see, is a bright light coming from the sky, Then I dropped dead....

(100 years ago....)

I was walking through the forest alone, due to the death of my parents and my pack, I had no where to turn too. As I walk through the dirt, I start to cry. 'Everything bad always happens to me...'  I was always the one getting picked on, the one that was always a loner, I was the outsider of all the wolves, everybody hated me, except my parents. Atleast they were the only ones who truly believed in me, But now they're gone. I cryed harder remembering my past, I couldn't take it anymore. I drop down, and take in the dirt. As I sit around remembering all of these things, I hear a loud thud, followed by a big gust of wind. I take in the wind, with happiness, but then I get up, shake off the dirt, And go on my way to see what that thud was all about. As I get closer I can hear whimpers, and barks of help. I start running to the sounds of an injured wolf, only to find "A wolf angel!" I whisper to myself in surprise. I go down to the hole where the angel is. When she sees I'm getting closer, she starts to calm down. Then she tells me, "Thank you for coming!" I looked at her and nodded. I help her get up and I see one of her wings are broken. "Hey you have a broken wing" I say notifying her, She looks down at her wing, and gasps "What am I to do now?" She asks herself, "I can tend it for you" I say showing her my wings. "Thank you!" She says back with pure happiness spreading across her face. I lead her to a watering hole where me, my parents, and my pack would go to heal the wounded. There she sat down with a questioning look, "So,am I supposed to get in the water, or drink the water?" She questioned me concerned, "None of the above" I respond. I take a leaf from a banana tree right at the bank of the water, I put some water on the leaf and pour It on her broken wing. When there was no more water on the leaf, and all of the water covered her broken wing completely, it healed instantly! "Wow! Thank you!" She told me with pure glee, flapping her wings rapidly in the air, "No problem." I say with a small smile. "What's your name" She asks, "My name is Huntress" I respond, "Well my name's Raven" she says, "Well then it's nice to meet you Raven" I say with a smile, perking up my ears.

(Ravens POV)

I can see happiness spread across her face. 'She seems like a nice wolf, maybe I can stay with her for awhile' I think with question. I see her stand up and start walking, I quickly get up, and run next to her, "Where are you headed?" I ask, "Nowhere in particular." She replies. I see her put her head down in sorrow, I didn't ask what was wrong though, she might take it the wrong way. As we walk through the forest, I see all the birds up high, and all the little critters down below,and Huntress still with her head down in sorrow. "Hey, umm... can I stay with you for a bit? I have no home and i'm in need of one." I say breaking the silence between the two. She lifts up head, and ears perked up. 'She looks like a leader...' I think. "Sure, not like there's anything special going on" She responds. I smile, "Do you lead a pack?" I say due to how she stands, "I was going to." She replies, "What happened?" I question. She turns to me, and fixes her eyes back on the road, "I don't want to talk about it." She says. After that we remained silent. We reach a cliff with a waterfall under it, Huntress sits down and admires the view, It was magnificent! You can see all the rivers, all the animals, all of the beautiful trees, and plants, with the sunset to make it look perfect! I could stay and admire it forever, but not Huntress. I see her get up, and spread her wings, "We should get going it's getting dark." she says, I nod. She moves back  a little, runs, and jumps off the cliff to take flight, I do the same. I tryed to fly next to her, but her wings are so big, they didn't allow me. The whole time we were in flight, we didn't say a word to each other. Finally I see Huntress descending downwards, and I do the same. When we reach the ground, I see a den, I guess thats where were sleeping, but I was wrong, Huntress kept walking to a little sancutary. It was beautiful. In the back of the den was a waterfall, with two lakes right next to the path, full of water lilys, the two lakes sparkled with fireflies hovering right over them, and the night sky made it look perfect. The sanctuary was protected by trees on the cliff, and the entrance was covered by thick vines, I still don't know how I got through. We went in the den, it was pretty big, immense even. Hundreds of wolves could fit in here! Huntress sat down, and I sat next to her. "Hey, umm... this den is pretty big, how did you find it?" I ask. Huntress looks up "Well I didn't find it, it was my parents who did." She replies,"So where are they?" I ask, Huntress looks at me with anger. and walks away, 'Maybe that's the sorrow she has.' I think to myself. Suddenly, I hear barking, barking of anger. I looked outside to where Huntress walked to, but it wasn't her, It was another pack! They looked angry as hell! They bit through the thick vines and got through. The pack stood they're ground infront of the entrance, I looked at Huntress with worry. She kept her focus on the pack, untill they charged. They were going at full speed, and Huntress just stood there. 'What is she doing?' I think with confusion. 'She going to get us both killed!'

O, and don't worry About the 100 year thing, I'll mention that later in the story, and it'll take more sense.
