The Campfire Night
The campfire area was a long walk from the dining hall, but the view was nice. It was on the shore of the Marshy Hope River. The staff had done funny skits around the campfire while we watched and laughed. Not many people were at the camp, maybe like 20 or 25 kids there. The camp was huge, so it was surprising to see few kids here. Jay and Kyle were having a good time. Later on they got to make s'mores and popcorn over the fire. The camp staff were nice, especially Jared, who was the most energetic and positive of the staff members.
The skies were pitch black now, with only the moon and stars giving off some light to lead them back to the two cabins. One for the boys and one for the girls. There were about 11 boys there and 10 girls there. The beds weren't really comfy, but what do you expect?
Kyle and Jay had bunked together in the bunk beds. Kyle had top and Jay had bottom. Very slowly the lights dimmed down, and more sleepy Jay had become. Very sleepy, until he went to sleep. He thought to himself, "Tomorrow is another day."
