Never underestimate a country girl. This is the phrase that 14 year old Alexis Thomas lives by everyday. Her mother died when she was three. Her dad hates her to the core. She needs to figure out how to become noticed after being at the bottom for over ten years. Will she rise to the top? Or will she forever remain alone? (it isn't finished so i'll edit when i have time so don't be demanding a story)

My School Day

As I said before I go to Arkport Middle School. So, basically my school day is pretty much, I leave around 7:00, my dad is too drunk to notice. I get to school they give me a bowl of mushy, tan stuff. I usually eat it, because all we have at home is beer and bread mostly.(I would eat the bread, but the expiration date was 4 months ago. Anyway, I eat it, and wait for about an hour and go to homeroom.
