The Amulet Of Power

The Amulet Of Power

This story is based on a game that my friends and I made up that we used to play. Okay, now for the actual summary thing: Rosella is the oldest of 3 girls and they are all princesses. One day, her mother went missing and she never knew why. Roselle must care for her younger sister but that is a little bit easy because they have magic! As the time passes, Rosella realizes that she must find her mother sooner or later...or else she becomes queen of Enchantia! (No, the kingdom name Enchantia is NOT from Sofia the First, we didn't even know about her/the show when we made up the game, the names, etc.)

Rosella

Rosella It was a beautiful, sunny day in Enchantia and almost everyone was awake. Everyone except for the royal family!

In a pretty, cozy, big room within the castle, there was golden hair spread out all over the pillows on the bed. Attached to the silky hair was a sixteen-year-old girl.

The door opened, and a tiny boy with black hair walked in. He snapped his fingers, vanished, then appeared on the girl's nose. The girl then yawned and opened her eyes. She found two murky-green eyes staring at her. She let out a melodious laugh.

"This is not how I expect to wake in the morning, Cobby!" she said.

Just then, a dog walked in.

"Why, hello there Bad Puppy!" the girl said cheerfully, "Did you have a good sleep?"

Bad Puppy let out a happy yip in response, then turned to Cobby. Cobby hissed and bared his fangs. Bad Puppy backed out of the room, eyes wide with fear.

"Cobby!" the girl scolded, "Be nice to the pets!"

A brunette popped her head in the doorway.

"Rosella, are you up yet?" the fourteen-year-old girl asked, "I'm starving!"

Rosella snickered.

"You're always hungry, Katie!" she said, annoyed but with a smile on her face.

"Well it's not my fault!" Katie retorted, "I'm an athlete and a dancer. You have to exercise a lot to do those things. You work up quite an appetite!"

Rosella rolled her eyes and sat up. She kicked her legs over the bed and tucked her feet into two light blue, fluffy slippers. She stood up and walked over to her closet.

"Don't take too long," Katie snorted, "it usually takes you forever to choose something to wear!"

And with that, she stuck her head back out and walked away.
