The First Four
Pros: She is curious and brave; she enjoys reading
Cons: She is disobedient and a little too curious
Although she is not often considered a princess I'm including her in my analysis because she does show the more young part of the morals the Disney Princess movies set up for us.
Wendy from Peter Pan~
Pros: She wants to stay young forever and never grow up; she is mature for her age and smart
Cons: She wants to stay young forever and never grow up; she is naive and too trusting
Wendy is cool because she cares for her brothers and has the curiosity and courage to explore a whole new land and get her brothers home safely.
Merida from Brave~
Pros: She is strong, independent, and stubborn
Cons: She is disobedient, stubborn, gullible, and a little dumb.
Merida is a good character because of her strength and will and determination when helping her mother.
Tiana from The Princess and the Frog~
Pros: Hardworker; She is determined, strong-willed, and stubborn
Cons: She over works herself and isn't very trusting of people or willing to help.
I really like Tiana because she is tough as nails and very smart and determined to get what she wants.

Not to criticize your love of Disney, but they made hundreds of mistakes in Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and the little mermaid. Just one other note, the Hercules movie has the same name as the myth and most of the same characters but a totally different plot which ruined it for See More me since they didn't even in clued his real, original, Greek name.
P.S. People tend to forget Kida, Audrey, and Helga from 'Atlantis: The Lost Empire'. They all kick butt! But then again, the movie wasn't very popular. :/
