The Talk
A few more days had past. Now Kula was beginning to get angry about her father not spending time with her. But instead spend time with this new lioness! So she wanted to talk to him face to face. Kula made her way up the steep rocks to the top of priderock. To where Scar and his follower would normally stay. The first thing she saw was group of scruffy looking lioness all over the place; Some were digging at the ground for food, others were play fighting, while the other rolled all over the place trying to get to sleep on the hard rocky ground.Kula take a deep breath then took a step foward to show herself. All of them turned round to look at Kula! Most would just stare for a bit then go back to what they were doing. However some growled at Kula as she got closer… Then out of group of lioness come a small red brown male lion. It was Scar! With one flick of his tail, all the lioness stopped growling and backed off. One of them looked back at Kula and gave her a warning stare. She knew that she wasn’t welcome here. Then she come face to face with the worst lion out all them.
Scar: If you come to try and make me do something about the drought, It’s not going to work!
Kula: No Sir. I’m not here to talk to you.
Scar: Then who?!
Kula: My father, Haini.
Scar: … Fine. He’s in the cave, just make your talk quick!
Scar marched away like he always did to show everyone he was king! Slowing Kula approached the cave. It wasn’t long until she could see only a hand-full of lions in the cave. There was Queen Zira sharpening her claws on a rock. Next to her was the sleeping Fuvu! The one who stole Kula’s father away from her! However then she saw her father… He was flicking his tail back and forth so the young prince Nuka could chase it. For moment Kula just watch her father playing with this cub however she come here for reason! Kula walked up to her unaware father. Before she could say anything Nuka saw her!
Nuka: Oh, hi Kula!
Haini shoot his head round to look at his daughter with shock!
Haini: K-Kula?! What you doing here?!
Kula: I want some answers Dad! Explain why you left me and Mum and went with this rouge!
Haini: ... Until you fall in love with someone you’ll won’t understand.
Kula: I don’t care if I understand it or not. All I want is answers!
Haini: Fine! Ever since this drought, your mother seem to start to only care for herself! All the times we had before the drought seemed to be nothing to her anymore… Then Fuvu come. Unlike your mother, she cared for me… But by then, it was already too late. I had fallen in love.
Kula: What do you mean fallen in love?...
Haini: I had fallen in love…There is nothing more to it!
Kula looked at her father with wide eyes. What had Fuvu done to him? It sounded as if Fuvu was somehow using him like a puppet! Now Kula’s angry for Haini was now turning rage! He knew that Fuvu was using him but Haini just allowed her to do it! Haini doesn’t a puppet, he was Fuvu’s loyal follower! Kula felted the rage boil inside of her. Kula gritted her teeth.
