Goodbye
May 12th, 2015. Aflac developed cancer under her wing. We didn't find out until Aflac started behaving funny. We did not have the money to take her to a vet, and we had no idea it was cancer. Aflac started acting normal for about two days. Then, to everyone's disappointment, Aflac died. I was heartbroken. All these Yeats I had had such a loyal duck companion, she was lost to Cancer. I felt more like it was my fault then anyone else's.Then I remembered that I was a hero my own way: I remembered making and selling clay pots. My aunt Peg had breast cancer. I sold many pots, and raised money to help her get a treatment. I had saved her life. And the extra money, I bought Dawn Dish Soap to send to Florida after the B.P Oil Spill. So even if I couldn't save Aflac, my family knows me as a hero who helped her aunt and animals in need. And Aflac as the duck who was my inspiration.
