The Letter
Twelve days later, Percy sat with Annabeth And Grover at the lake overlooking the forests beyond. The birds chirped happily and the sunset reflected off the crystal clear water. Percy flinched as he accidentally bumped his shoulder on a nearby tree. The wounds from the fire were still prominent on his skin and the pain just as much. Percy had blacked out after he was buried under the rubble pile. Someone must have saved him, as it all was a blur and Percy could not remember much. The last thing he saw was the smiling, blurry face of a person lifting him up and then all turned black. All of a sudden the water started to bubble and churn beneath the group. The friends leapt back as an army of three- legged fish jumped out of the water. They were covered in slime and their thousands of eyes darted sideways. They each held shiny, pointed spears in hand. They then attacked leaping at Annabth, slicing her hand open. Blood poured out and Annabeth fainted. Percy grabbed her and carried her to the safety of the camp. Once inside the three- legged fish dispersed and half slithered, half walked back into the lake."That was close", Grover said.
Two days later, something similar happened. Screams erupted from the forest around 8pm that night, as Clarisse and a few other campers came running back into the magical border of the camp. A dozen or so wild boars were in close proximity. They made it just in time, the boars smashing into the border with such force. The next morning Chiron came to Percy with a serious message from Kronos. The message read that he has arranged an army of titans, giants and monsters to invade the camp in exactly seven days and if Chiron doesn't have an army to fight than Kronos will kill each camper individually with his scythe. Chiron acted instantly calling an emergency meeting near the campfire pit. He arranged an army of seven to face Kronos in seven days. The team consisted of Annabeth Chase, Grover Underwood, Percy Jackson, Clarisse La Rue, Travis Stoll, Connor Stoll and Silena Beauregard. Percy knew his team wasn't going to be enough to save the camp. Whether Percy succeeded or not would all be revealed in seven days.
