Mao

A really boring paragraph about a horrible man.

MAO
Mao was a Chinese communist leader who was the founder of the 'People's Republic of China'.  Mao was born on the 26th of December in 1893.  Mao was born into a normal family in in Shaoshan in Hunan province  central china.  After he trained as a teacher he went to Beijing where he worked in a university library.  During his work their he began to read Marxist literature.  In 1921 he became a founder member of the 'Chinese Communist Party' or the CCP, while there he set up a branch in Hunan.  In 1923 ,2 years later the Kuomintang or KMT which is a nationalist  party allied with the CCP to defeat the warlords who controlled a lot  of northern china.  Then in 1927 the KMT leader who was Chiang Kai-shek started an anti-communist purge.  Mao and all the other communists headed towards south east China.  In 1934 after the KMT exploited them, Mao led all his followers on the 'Long March' which was a 6,000 mile journey  to northwest China so that they could make a new base.  In 1950 a constitution was made with a strong and powerful which gave supreme power to the Communist Party and Mao Zedon.  The consequence was that there were big hold backs in education and women rights as well as health care.  Skipping towards around the 1958 Mao made an attempt to introduce a more 'Chinese ' form of communism.  Mao launched something called the 'Great Leap Forward' to improve agriculture and industrial production.   By doing this he made 30 million Chinese people starve to death.  After that Mao lost power to Liu Shaoqi and Deng Xiaoping who wanted to rerun to a russian type of communism.
