Lurking Nightmares: The Return

Fate Decides

Another horrifying day I have to put up with those crazed animatronics, I force myself out of the relaxation of my bed feeling I might never see it again dragging myself upwards to stand on my two legs and walk straight out of the room limply feeling very exhausted. Though, before I get to the car I stop by the kitchen sink on my way and splash my face with cold water as the icy touch forced my eyes wide open wiping the water away I head straight for the car and ride off towards the fate I've brought myself.
It was only 10:06 pm when I left and now it's about 11:59 pm once I got to the diner. I take a long look at the building, take a deep breathe and walk right into the building doors hearing them shut behind me, walking past Ginger and Solar ---------- who I know of course is watching me --------- as I head up the top floor taking step by step up the stairs towards the office. Setting myself down on the chair I check the first floor cameras noticing that Ginger is already gone and on her way to the vent while Solar stood where he was on the stage just staring, "Of course, as soon as I get here you guys already start roaming around that's nice" I growl irritated checking the second floor cameras now some of the withered animatronics have already started roaming about the halls which of course Rowdy w cane close to the office door but I shut it just in time but only to be weirded out when he looks at me with those creepy brown eyes of his "Heeeey! Hey Elena! Mind opening the door?" He asked politely I look at him and laugh "Yeah not happening Rowdy." The fox shrugs and moves away finally but I couldn't relax yet Rosy was making her way to the office next I knew what to do about her, I shut the doors over the windows awaiting the impact from Rosy's blow to the windows to fade back I hear a loud bang on the left window than onto the right which shook the office a bit though it all settled down and I lifted the doors back up only wasting 45% of power Rosy finally left.

It's 4am, so far so good everything seems to be in order and none of the animatronics have tried to kill me yet or make me into one of them. Though, as the clock began ticking I checked the cameras only to realize I don't see any of the animatronics. I flick the screens over and over again but still nothing "Where did they go?" I question now seeming worried "Did something happen to them? Or are they planning sneak attacks?" Looking around frantically I start to get impatient "Ugh, this is no longer fun I'll try to go find those animatronics they have to be around" grabbing my flashlight I head down the hallway from the safety of the office. I check down the storage room first, but all there is are remaining parts of the withered animatronics "Huh, maybe I can fix those animatronics since they do seem badly damaged that'll have to wait I need to find them first" I remind myself and continue my search looking around every corner, attraction room, or figure in case they pull a fast one on me but it's all dark and empty I can't find any sight of them. Right as I was about to give up, my flashlight began flickering "No, not now" I plead hitting the object trying to keep it alive but nothing would work my only guidance of light died and now I was surrounded by darkness "This is not good, I gotta get back to the office and fast!" I dash blindly to the office not knowing where I'm going only to trip over an object probably trash somebody left and I landed hard on my right arm feeling something break in it. Crying in agony I lay helpless on the ground wincing and try dragging myself but it only made the pain worse when I thought nothing could make this truly a bad night though I thought to soon hearing the distant metal footsteps not one, but two coming my way tears swell up in my eyes I look in the direction of the yellow and blue eyes looking down at me once the terrifying forms of Ginger and Ellie came my way standing before me. Ellie was the first to speak "Well this is a surprise" she seemed intrigued Ginger giggled "Indeed, who would have thought the security guard would actually be looking for us" the bat smiled looking at Ellie than back to me I growl "I didn't see any of you on the screens so I thought something bad happened" I growled trying to fight tears Ellie bent down on one knee and looked at me "So your saying you were worried about us? If so, there is no need your the one we're worried about at the moment" feeling befuddled I try to glance at Ellie but the pain in my arm increased when I tried moving "Why is that? You all have been trying to kill me these past nights."

Ginger bends her wings "Not really, at first we did but overtime we actually enjoyed your company. You see Elena you were the first night guard to actually last long enough to stay with us so we just scare you for fun" she says cheerfully I smile a little "Really? That's a relief but I don't think I can spend the night with you guys no more I feel I may not be in the right condition to work now cause my arm is broken" I sigh sadly when a metal hand rest on my back Ellie purred "Oh don't worry friend, fate has prepared you for something that will change your life forever trust me we'll fix you" before I could respond I feel a sudden pain in the back of my head and just like that everything went dark.
