Lauren Wants to Play
April 17th, 2018Day two of working at a security guard and I really regret getting this job. But since I haven't received any acceptance letters for college yet I will have to deal with six animatronics who plan to kill me, just great. Heading towards the office at 12am sitting myself on the chair I check the cameras and quickly see Solar this time be the first to leave the stage "You have got to be kidding me" I sigh about to check the hall when the phone rang: "Uh....hello! Hey, I see you have miraculously made it through the first night, good job and well I'm here to give you some more info on the animatronics. Now I'm sure you've noticed the room for in the kid's play area downstairs on the right corridor of the northern hall you will see a lemur animatronic named Lauren who was reported by our last security guard saying she actually lifted the door up when she got to close to the entrance if the office" my face turned pale "So, if that happens just use your flashlight in her face all animatronics hate that. Except for one though, but I'll tell you that tomorrow have a good night!" Right as he hung up I curse under my breathe and check the outside hallway to the office and right there stood Solar smiling at me and he waves "Hey Elena!" The bat smiled cheerfully but I shut the door on him than to the left window he put his face and hands on the glass staring at me "Hello from the other siiiide, I'll be waiting by this door til your power diiiieeess" Solar sang "Seriously?" I say crossing my arms.
Solar's smile disappears "What?"
"That song is so old, why even?"
The bat hesitated to answer and quickly dashed away. I lift up the door and luckily saving 95% of power. Taking deep breathes I check the cameras and almost fall out of my chair when I see Lauren peeking out around the corner of the dining room, she walks out slowing than at a normal pace than stopping to stare at me from the camera, her head twitches and the camera goes off. "What the!" I freak out for a moment but the camera returns to normal I realize that dang lemur has vanished, I flick the cameras without thinking I shut the door when a hand grabs from under it stopping the door from closing on whatever object was refusing to let it shut my heart skips a beat watching with terrified eyes the door gets forced back upwards and right there stood Lauren. "I'm guessing you didn't carefully listen to the callers advice about me, heh this was to easy" the lemur giggled but what sounded to be a male mix of giggles I grab my light and point it straight at Lauren she shrieks covering her face "Think again you ring tailed freak, cause I know how to stop you" I respond flashing my light at her "Gah! It's so dang bright!" She growls backing away into the shadows "I'll be back, just you wait!" Lauren walked away unsatisfied.
Two hours have pasted it's now 3am and I had to restart my power cause around 1:05 when Lauren lifted that door up forcefully it wasted half my power and later on I wasted my power when I had to block out Holly. "I hate this job, I really do hate it. Why did I even ask to do this?" I chant angrily to myself when my power finally flicks back on I check the cameras to notice Ginger finally moving about towards the vents I notice something above the vent spelled out in red "No hope, no peace" it said but the camera once again glitched out returning to its natural state again the words were gone and so was Ginger. Of course. I listen carefully and hear the sounds of moving in the vent I grab the light waiting for the right moment to flash that bat pops out of the floor vent shrieking I flash the light in her face she screech and disappears back into the vent "That's what you get for trying to kill me from before!" I shout down in the ventilation "Oh shut up!" The animatronic responds annoyed. I laugh and check the halls, Lauren was getting close I shut the door just in time "Nice try" I say hearing the bangs of mechanical fists on the door than seeing peeking eyes to the right of the window. Lauren seemed irritated "Your no fun" she crosses her arms pouting I roll my eyes "You are a cute animatronic but at the same time scary, now run along" I taunt Lauren seeing her face now mad, she finally leaves and I lift the doors up again the 6am bell rings and I jump out of my chair relieved I survived but I notice Ginger peeking from the shadows of the vent "Beginners luck" she growls than like the night before she vanishes into the darkness.
