Right For The Job
April 16th, 2018The next day I told my mom about what job application I chose to fill out and she offered to drive me over to Funtime City to hand it over to the manager but I said "There's no need mom, I can drive myself over there. Thank you for offering though well I'll seeya later" waving bye I dash outside to my black scooter, I place the papers tucked safely in my side bag and take off riding about my scooter at the right time and right speed I check the addresses for Joshua Rd 4567 Bentonville, Arkansas. Looking carefully with eyes like a hawk I screech to a stop just on time before almost passing my stop, I turn right towards the driveway than park my scooter near the front of the building I step back to get a better look of the whole place and awed to see a large sign spelling out the name of the place and above it showing the picture of two animatronic bats than on the side of the walls were painted a light blue colors with windows across them from top to bottom.
My gaze soons dodges from looking at the building any longer and I head straight inside though to my surprise the doors open automatically which is really cool. Right as I walk in to my amazement I saw a large dinning room full of great smelling foods and right at the end of the large room stood a stage of the same two bat animatronics I saw on the front of the building only singing fancy songs bringing entertainment to many adults and young children. It was impressive, I walk around in search of the manager I have the feeling I'm being watched though as I turn around no one at all was looking my way, shrugging it off I walk on til I notice someone dressed in a blue uniform. A young man much older than me wore a snowy whute beard on his face, had black skin, and blue eyes from the looks of it maybe could be the manager. I head my way over to him holding the papers in hand just in case I stand near him with a neutral expression on my face "Excuse me sir, are you the manager?" I ask kindly awaiting a response the man turns me looking as if I've done something but smiles "Why yes of course, is there something I can help you with?" He asked placing his hands in his pockets "Well yes, you see I have filled out a job application for a security guard and was wondering if you were still open for it" I hand him the papers of my filled out information about myself in hopes I am qualified for the job.
The manager takes my application and looks through it, reading every line at his own pace nodding at a couple of things than raising an eyebrow as if interested of this information. "Huh, interesting very interesting" he speaks in a intrigued tone handing me back my papers with a smile "I do believe you are capable of handling this job but first things first I'm gonna show you around first so you know every part of our building from top to bottom" a smile creeps across my face "Alright, this'll be fun but wait I did not catch your name good sit" I respond the old man clears his throat before speaking "The name's Mr. Rogers but people call me Snowy, what's your name?" Snowy asked cheerfully "My name is Elena. Elena Delgado it's nice to meet you Snowy" I giggle at the last part of my words. "Nice meeting you too Elena, now let me show you around" he beckoned me to follow him towards the stage of the animatronic bats "These are two of the six animatronics we have here. These two are created to be twins, brother and sister each designed with their own marks; Ginger is the female one with the star and Solar is the make with the sun. They both are what sing and dance here in the dining room to entertain young children and adults" he explains as I nod fascinated by them "That's amazing" I say. Snowy nods "Now come with me, there's more to see" leading away from the dining room I do notice the eyes of those animatronics following my every move.
