Chapter one: First Day of Puppy Training School

“Time to get in the car!” Lila’s owner said, putting Lila’s leash on. She had no idea what she just said, but she understood the word “car” and knew what they were about to do. The little “crew” of dogs all got in their cars, with their owners at the same time. And they were all going to the same place. (they didn’t know that of course). They were all neighbors in a small town called Springfield. They all rode in their owners’ cars, sticking their heads out the windows, tongues out.  Potato almost fell out of the window, but her owner’s 11 year old daughter pulled her back before she could. Potato, who was named after her owner's favorite vegetable because she was the shape of a potato and a little bit bigger than a one, wagged her tail as her tongue rolled out of her mouth, and the wind ruffled her fur. She was the smallest corgi her owners had ever seen. But she wasn’t that small. When they all got to their destination, they all finally figured out where their owners were taking them. Then they all saw each other, and were even more surprised.

“Pumpkin!” Lila yelped.

“Lila!” Pumpkin yelped back, “And Potato, and Buster, and Spotty!”

“Aw, I thought we were gonna go get doggie cookies at that place with all those toys, and treats, and pet stuff,” Buster whose real name was Buster Lemon, but was called Buster by her friends whined. Then she saw that all the crew was at the same place, and her eyes lit up.

“Friendzies!” she yipped, and tried to run over to them so she could tackle them, but was held back by her owner.

“Woah there Lemon! I know you're excited, but you have to stay calm,” he said. (Her owner sometimes calls her Lemon, she had two nicknames).

Buster understood the word “Woah” and calmed down, but once they got closer, she pulled so hard that she made her owner fall and let go of her purple leash, and ran and tackled her friends.  They all got off each other, and Buster's owner grabbed her leash, and they all entered the building.  The crew of dogs then figured out that the building was for training puppies, it was kinda like schools for pups. Their owners called it, “Puppy Training School” or just, “Puppy School”. Their owners led them to a lady at a counter who talked to them, then led them to a big room (that was kinda looked like a gym without hoops and stuff, but instead with a bunch of dog toys and dog stuff) with lots of other puppies who were running around playing, and saying goodbye to their owners, who left them in the room with some other people who supervised the pups. Their owners left after a few minutes, and  Spotty whined.

“Where are they going?” Lila asked, balancing on her hind legs and tried to see over Spotty’s head, because she to was sitting up.

“Hey Spotty, could you move, I can’t see over you're fat head!” Lila joked.

Spotty turned to look at her.

“Hey!” she growled, but her eyes were full of laughter, “And what about your head? Huh!?”

“I don’t have a fat head!”

“Yes you do! Tiny body, big head!”

“Well even if I had a fat head, it wouldn’t be as fat as yours!”

They all bursted out laughing.

Then a whistle blew. Almost all the puppies, besides them padded over to the man who blew the whistle.

“Uh...are we supposed to go to?” Buster asked.

“I don’t know,” Pumpkin replied.

“Come on pups!” the man called. The group of puppies tilted their heads. The man padded his knees.

“Come on!”

They then understood, and raced up to him and the other pups.

“Sit,” he ordered slowly. Everyone sat, well besides, Lila, Pumpkin, Buster, Spotty, and Potato. While some took a while to sit, and then sat, while others looked at the man in confusion, when the man said the word again, they sat, the 5 new pups just stood there confused about what to do.

“Sit down idiots!” a small brown and white dog with pointy ears in front of them hissed.

“Hey, we’re not idiots,” Pumpkin growled.

“Well if you're not idiots, then why aren’t you sitting?”

“We’re not the idiots here you are! If you weren't such an idiot you would know that we haven’t learned that word yet because we just started this school!”

The dog scowled then turned his head back, and didn’t say another word.

The man who had blown the whistle was a skinny man with dark brown hair, glasses, and wore a brown jacket. He looked at the 5 pups not sitting and waited.

“Come on sit!”

The pups tilted their heads.

“Okay let’s try that again. Up!” the guy lifted his hand up. The pups who had been to the school the longest were first to stand up, a few of the other pups took a while to understand what he just said, and stood up. While the last pups (besides the crew of 5 pups) just followed what the others did.

“Now sit!”

Everyone sat. The crew of the 5 puppies looked around. Lila sat, and stayed sitting like she understood the whole time, and knew what was going on. The others looked at everyone confused for a moment then sat.

“I think I get it now! Whenever that guy up there says that same word, we have to sit down!”  Buster yipped.

“And if we don’t understand we just do what everyone else is doing,” Potato added. Everyone nodded in agreement.

I enjoy your narrative a lot! I'm an idiot and don't know many dog breeds, but I found this to https://slope-game.io/ be amusing, adorable, and intriguing. A couple things were a little monotonous, but not in an irritating way. You performed well!
