Prologue
Another dreadful day, working at this horrid place, the all too bright lights, the raucous sounds that keep me from focusing, the all too happy children, everywhere. All. The. Time. It was like my own personal hell, and I can't escape. “Why did I take the job at this place?”, I mumbled to myself on my way home.
I've tried to resign, but they won't let me until they find a replacement. They won't fire me unless I do something unspeakable? Which is crazy, of course… Or is it? It seems a bit desperate, but what would I even do? Murder. I thought. I can do it… But will I?, I thought, my brain filling with a numb buzz.
Yeah! I’ll just kill someone! What else would those empty suits be for, anyways? When I arrived at my house, soon the plans were set. I would kill five children,(It's not overkill! It isn't!) and stuff them into the suits. That should be enough to close the place down and I'll be free!
I crazily cackled deep into the pitch black night, until my throat was raw and my brain was tired. I finally fell asleep.

But, who knew that actions had consequences?

Chapter 1
The Birthday Party

It was the year 1989, and this special day was my birthday. I just woke up and was sitting at my kitchen table, lazily eating a bowl of cereal. I didn't get to finish my breakfast before my mother strolled into the kitchen. “Jeremy, where do you want to go for your birthday?” she asked. I thought for a moment before exclaiming, “I wanna go to Freddy’s!” My mom stared at me for a moment before simply nodding, “Sure, let's invite some of your friends!”

Later that day, around 11:30 A.M., we left to pick up my friends.
Gabriel, who had deep brown hair, he was pale, short, lean, and his eyes were a deep chestnut brown that popped on his pale complexion.
Susie, she was skinny and had long platinum blonde curls that reached down to her quaint shoulders, with deep sapphire eyes decorating her soft face. Her skin looked a bit tanner compared to her hair, but she was still pale.
Fritz, who was a tanner, broader, boy, with dirty blond hair on his head and sparkling viridian eyes that really stood out on his face, along with a small gap between his big front teeth.
And Cassidy, she was tall and skinny, with long, straight, shiny black hair that grew to her shoulder blades. She had deep hazel eyes that almost blended in with her pupil.

When we got there, we all tried, and failed, on agreeing what to do. Susie had been really down lately, due to her dog's death, so we figured she should pick.
“Maybe we could order pizza first, so that we can watch the animatronics?” she quietly asked, “I’ve always liked Chica.” So we did just that.
The pizza was crap, as always, but the show was pretty good. They had new songs programmed into the animatronics the night prior, so I guess that was nice. After the show we decided on going to the arcade. We each got about $20 worth of tokens, which got us each 500.
I spent most of mine on Midnight Motorist. The objective was to get as many laps as possible, and the layout was simple, you played a large blue car against the other cars.
Susie played Fruity Maze. In the game you played as a ginger girl, wearing what looked like a bright pink romper, running through a maze and collecting fruit. It was a nice distraction from her dog passing away, though whenever she earned Extra Time the screen would flash black and she could see her saddened expression stare back at her solemn face.
Gabe played BB’s Air Adventure the whole time, as he had the high score and didn’t want anybody to take it. The game was light and fun, where you played as a round boy, jumping on floating platforms and collecting colorful balloons.
Fritz was wasting his tokens on Chica’s Party, even though he couldn’t even get everything done in the time limit. You play as a charming looking Chica as you collect and bring cake to sad kids throughout the level.
Cassidy, well, she just watched the others play their games, walking over to each kid to watch for a few minutes before walking away again, being the shy kid she was. Although, she did play the vending machine about twenty times, and ended up getting us each our own cute plush, she was always kind and generous like that, thinking about others.

Chapter 2
The Man in Purple

As soon as we had finished spending our shiny tokens, we decided on going back to the party room, there wasn't much else to do anyways. We saw the day guard pass us, slowly walking by.
He was wearing a deep purple security suit, and charcoal trousers that fit snugly around his small waist. He was skinny, but tall, and you could tell he was strong, though his build seemed to say otherwise. The guard was extremely pale, as though he had never been outside, or even in the Sun for that matter. And the bags under his eyes were almost black, as if he put on makeup to make it that way.
His hair was a light brown with a small stubble lining his chin, and his hair was tied up into a low shoulder-length ponytail, that bounced as he walked, the front of his hair making a dramatic shadow over his handsome face.
I don’t know what it was, but for some reason or another, he was unsettling. He had some sort of Aura around him that made my gut twist and my skin tingle. Maybe it was the crazed and tired look in his eyes, eyes that were dull and empty, that had clearly seen some things I didn't want to think about. Or maybe it was the unnatural, yet comfortable smirk he wore, wrapped around his small jaw. Or perhaps it was both.
He sharply turned to us and waved, the smirk shifting into a warm, welcoming smile on his face as his dull eyes crinkled, but it still seemed wrong, maybe even a bit strained. Before I could think about it too much, though, he simply walked off into a direction I didn't bother to see. “That guy seems really off to me.” I whispered into Cassidy's delicate ears. “Yeah.” she stated, “He seemed like he was about to do something wrong-”
“You guys are being superstitious!” Fritz lightly interrupts, “Just calm down, and try to have fun!” He says as he turns to continue following Gabe and Susie, who had taken the lead.
We decide to shake it off, and follow Fritz's advice.
I go to the carousel, and ride on the rabbit, who was most likely white at some point, but it seemed to be decorated with grey dirty spots, it didn't matter all that much.
Gabriel rode the large brown bear, who seemed to be hygienic enough.
Susie rode the tall vermilion chicken that she had a bit of trouble climbing on.
Fritz rode the bright orange fox, which was much lower to the ground, but bounced nonetheless.
And Cassidy just sat out, standing off to the side of the ride. The carousel makes her queasy, she said, and we didn't push her to go on it with us. I felt bad for her, so I let her decide what to do next. A small, shy smile painted her quaint face as she pointed towards the prize counter.

We finished stocking up on cheap candy, and little toys made of that crappy plastic material, and stuffed it all into a small bag provided to us. On our way back to the main party room we see that man again. He swiftly walked into some sort of back room, giddy excitement evident in his eyes before he disappeared into the dark doorway. Probably somewhere employees take breaks, and I understood why he was excited. Watching kids all day must be a pretty overbearing job.

Chapter 3
The Cake

After a few stoic minutes of light small talk passed through the party room, I spotted a dirty yellow rabbit come out of the room the man went into. I guess he went in there to turn it on or something? It looked like a free roam animatronic, but maybe somebody was inside.
It had a dark amethyst colored bowtie, the animatronic itself was a pretty, yet ever so dirty sunflower yellow, and the eyes looked more humanoid than the robots on stage. Maybe someone was in there after all…
The rabbit noticed us staring, waved as it walked past, then continued to clank into the kitchen area.
“I’ve never seen that mascot before?” I said to Fritz, confused. “Maybe it was a mascot made different so nobody gets confused?” Fritz unsurely stated, “Ya know, like, what would you do if there were two Freddys’?” He finished saying, now sounding convinced his words were true. It was enough to convince me his words were true, for a second.
That’s when the rabbit walked down the hall towards us with a cake in his large metallic hands. It was a single layer cake with vanilla frosting, and bright colorful sprinkles that beckoned to my conscience. It stared at me, and just for a second I thought I caught a hint of excitement in its eyes, but then gestured to the cake with its large head.
The rabbit then beckoned us to follow it into the room it had come out of before, and I realized I never saw that security guard leave, but figured he left without my noticing.
We decided to follow the tall mechanical rabbit, I mean who would turn down a cake! Especially, at a birthday party like this one.

When we got to the room we looked around. A bunch of spare parts, circuitry, and an extra endoskeleton decorated the checkered linoleum floor, along with some party decorations. The room was dim and small, and I didn't see any signs of that creepy Security Guard. Though I wondered why we were in here instead of the party room?
The rabbit set the cake down on a table with a thud. And then cut us each a piece with a very large cake knife. It poured us some red tinted punch into flimsy, purple plastic cups. We each thanked the rabbit for its kindness, then aggressively dug in.
The cake was a very rich chocolate, contrasting wonderfully by perfectly layered vanilla ice cream. We conversed a bit while we ate, and the rabbit sat on the floor quietly listening. After we were done stuffing our young faces and drinking two liters of punch, it cleaned up our plates with a friendly crinkle in it's fake eyes, though they didn't look so fake anymore…
And, finally it spoke, not with a robotic voice like the other animatronics, but with a clear, deep, charming, raspy voice that sounded light and kind, but so tired.
“Glad' you enjoyed the cake. It took a while, but I made it for you!” We thanked him once again, now that we knew that we weren’t just talking to a robot, but a man in a suit, like I had guessed before. “Thank you so much, it was delicious!”
His eyes crinkled once more, then told us to just stay there while he cleaned up. He stiffly walked out of the room with a garbage bag that contained our dirty plates, cups, and utensils. Something about him was a bit weird as he left, though.
When he left we talked, “I wonder who that rabbit was…?” I said to my friends. “Maybe it was the guard, we never did see him leave, did we?” Gabe replied.

Chapter 4
The Suits

While the bunny was gone, we decided to look around. There was a Bonnie suit, a Chica suit, a Freddy suit, a Foxy suit, and a suit none of us recognized. It was another bear, but it had the same color scheme as the rabbit did, although the bear had more debris, and obviously wasn't very well maintained. I thought back to Fritz's comment about another Freddy. All the suits were in the far back of the room, curtained by dark shadows, and all the suits were limp, lifeless. Dead. A strong feeling of curiosity overtook my body, and I walked over to the walls.
There were messily torn newspapers taped up crazily all over the tall walls, so much so you almost couldn't see the wallpaper beneath it.They were all about Freddy’s, mostly grand openings, some lawsuits for incidents that involved wet floors, stuff like that.
One in particular caught my eye, though:
Child Hospitalized After Being Bit By Animatronic Bear!
I couldn’t see the whole thing though, I squinted and caught a few gruesome details. The child was forced into the jaw of the bear by his ‘friends’, and lost his frontal lobe. It was even on his birthday, how sad. But what was Fredbears Family Diner? Did Freddy's have a restaurant before the pizzeria? And who was Fredbear? Was he a counterpart to Freddy?
I was getting overwhelmed and my head hurt from my confusion, but that's when the rabbit came in. I asked him, “Hey… uhm, what is Fredbears Family Diner?”
A sadness I had never seen before filled his visible eyes, before they became sharp yet solemn as he reluctantly replied, his words slurred and shaky by his quivering lips, “It was where all of this came alive,” He quietly, and longingly stated, gesturing around to the whole pizza place.
“It was shut down though, after-” he took a pause, and I heard him swallow, “After my son passed away.” We all looked at him, he was fighting back tears to the best of his ability, but was losing the battle. His head was tilted down as shame and sadness took his expression.
We hurried to his side and gave him a warm hug, we didn’t want him to be sad. He hugged us all back, comfortably leaning in for a few seconds, but recoiled quickly as though we had burned him, and something was wrong with us. I wondered if something was wrong with us as his eyes, his emotion filled eyes, that were so easy to read, took on a look of discomfort and guilt.
I broke eye contact and looked back, seeing that limp, gross yellow bear again. I decided it was now or never to ask him what it was,
“Hey, uh, what mascot is that supposed to be?” He slowly looked to it and lightly sighed, “That was Fredbear.” he said, words rolling off his tongue like poison.
I looked at it with shock, as the rest of us averted their glances, clearly uncomfortable with the change in emotion. I noticed small traces of dried, now almost brown blood on the jaw. “I’m so sorry.” Cassidy politely, but honestly said, looking down at her toes. “I can’t believe that happened to you.”
She hesitantly padded over and kneeled next to the bear, softly stroking the matted, golden fur on it's big head, with almost a gossamer touch. She looked back after a few seconds, “Is your suit from the same place?” She asked. He nodded, looking down again.
Then we heard a loud snap, and the man's head shot up. “Oh crap,” The man said so quietly we almost couldn’t hear him. He winced in pain, frozen to the ground on which he stood, and all we could do was watch. He then deeply breathed in relief, “Oh good, it was only one.” he stated to himself, frozen yet relieved shock in his eyes.
We looked at him with tilted heads, and asked in unison, “One what?”
He darkly replied, “You wouldn’t understand.” Eyes sharpening into a tight, yet subtle glare.
He seemed wary of the suit now, as though it wasn’t safe, and wasn't moving very much anymore. We were all standing around uncomfortably, avoiding looking at something for too long. I was still trying to figure out what the noise was, and why he seemed so frightened.
I decided to just try to forget about it, although it was hard. I decided I wanted to leave this room now. We decided we wanted to leave this room now, and forget everything that had just happened. We just wanted to go have fun. We just wanted to just go and play again, and be kids, and not think about sad men in bunny suits and their dead sons.
But the tall rabbit man had different plans. He stood in front of the door, sturdy and wide frame blocking our way out, and my stomach flipped.
       He said, “You’re staying here.”

Chapter 5
Stuffed

We didn’t know what to do. If we should be scared, or not. Maybe he had more surprises, maybe he just needed friends. Nope none of that. My mouth felt like dry cotton pressing against my tongue as he pulled out a large knife, that seemed to gleam despite the dim room. I recognized the knife… but from where? The cake knife! This was all just a hoax to lure us in here, wasn't it?
I thought, maybe the best way to get out of this was joking around, yeah, we can distract him, right?
“Hey dude, uh, nice knife!” I squeaked in a cheery tone. He just stared for a second, I could see a mix of frustration, and confusion in his once cheery and kind eyes.
“So you think this is all just a joke,” he asks, spinning the weapon around in his large hand, as though it can’t hurt anybody. “Well, it’s isn't! And you're just making me angry.” He started walking toward us, raging, buzzing, radioactive anger in every step he takes.
The others just spared a glare at me, as I was pretty stupid for joking around. Then Susie just started to break down, tears streaming down her face, and clouding over her pretty eyes.
Then, she sobered, and almost laughed, a small snort escaping her lips. Why would she smile in a situation like this? Cassidy stated at her with a bewildered look on her face, and exclaimed, “What's so funny, huh, do you want to die!?!” She was obviously angry. I could tell why. Susie just replied, “Why be scared of death, if nobody can prevent it? Its almost funny how powerless we are.”
This made the rabbit hesitate, obviously not expecting her acceptance. And she had a point, but-
"Can't we prevent it now?!" Gabriel hurriedly asked.
The rabbit took another step toward us, and we took another step backwards. No matter, though. His steps were much larger than ours. Now only inches away, and kneeled in front of me.
“There is no way to escape,” he darkly said, “Death is inevitable.” He ran the blade on his fingertips, and then he raised his blade, preparing to dispose of me. “Don’t scream, don’t struggle,” he softly, almost longingly whispered in my ear, “That would only make it worse.” His arm cocked back, about to stab me, but I couldn't let it be over, not yet. There was still a chance I could escape, right?
I looked him in the eyes, they were almost purple, a greyish color mostly. They were pretty. I could tell he was tired, though. Really tired. I quickly found the energy I didn't think I had to fling myself forward into the man's torso, trying grab the blade from his hands, or at least knock him off guard. Nope, I missed, but if it means anything, I threw myself into a wall when he tried to swing again. I’m sure it would have looked very cartoonish, if I wasn’t about to die.
Then his arm swung down, he got me in my right eye. I recoiled with pain and winced, quickly putting my hand over my eye, “Dude, what the heck did we do to you?” I asked, desperate for an answer as wet tears started rolling down my face, the right tears washing the blood still coming out of my eye, making it sting more..
He didn’t answer though, instead he tiredly said, “Since it’s your birthday, you can go last!” I tried being sarcastic, but my words were a squeaky jumbled mess. Basically, I was going to say, "Wow what a great surprise!'', but it came out as, “Wow, what, yeah.” He picked me up by the shoulders and sat me down in a chair, looking for something to tie me up. He ended up using some wires and cables that were laying around.
My friends were all in a far corner of the room, next to the limp animatronics, obviously looking for something to use as a weapon. “Who wants to go first?” he almost politely asked. Susie raised her hand, I knew why, she didn’t like seeing people in pain, especially her friends, but-
He walked toward her menacingly, each step thumping on the ground, and she slowly walked forward, quivering. He just, stabbed her right in the neck. We all winced, tears clouding up our eyes. He carefully picked her up, and placed her in an empty Chica suit. It was wet with her blood, deep red spotted and soaking the yellow fur.
Gabriel was next, though it wasn’t his choice. He was stabbed right in the chest, he screamed in pain, until he fell to the ground and went silent. The man picked him up forcefull, but delicately, though holding the body away from him, as though it was some kind of rodent. He shoved him into the freddy suit, since he was a smaller kid, he didn’t struggle to do so very much, either.
Next up was Fritz. He was the most scared, as the man walked toward him, you could see it in his green eyes when he coward away until he hit the floor and pushed himself against the wall. He looked up at the rabbit, so scared he couldn’t move, his body frozen to the ground. It didn't seem he could even speak either. The rabbit man stabbed him right in the stomach. Fritz doubled over in pain, but he wasn’t dead. The rabbit jabbed him a few more times, and carried him over to Foxy. Since Foxy was a skinnier suit, and Fritz was a broader child, it took a few minutes.
Cassidy was next, although she just stood there expressionless, staring straight ahead, slightly above where the now stuffed animatronics were. The man looked at her, slightly tilting his head in confusion, shrugged and proceeded towards her. He stabbed her, yet not too strong as she was frail. Then he just picked her up, as though she was just a pencil. My eyes tracked his movements, it was all I could to keep from freaking out, and I thought he was going to stop at Bonnie, but he walked right past it, and to the yellow bear suit. He carefully placed her in, and whispered, “Take care of him for me.” tears welling up in his eyes.
Then he quickly turned toward me, I could see in his eyes that he was smiling. He took off the head of the suit to reveal that he was, in fact, the guard, a few tears evident on his all too pale skin. I knew something was off with him! He smirked and stared at me, a crazed look in his eyes, then walked towards me slowly, talking on his way, “Ya know, I have a reason for doing this,” he started, “This stupid place won’t let me leave, so I decided to just get myself fired.” I hesitantly nodded as he spoke, as though I understood. He paused right in front of me, and crouched down so his dull eyes met mine, and I saw something in them spark, it was guilt. “Happy Birthday, Jeremy.” He sweetly told me as he proceeded to jab my heart. I gagged as I could feel pain take my body. Before everything went black, he grabbed me and put me into the Bonnie suit, and the pain was gone.

Epolauge

I felt a tinge of guilt after I killed them, but only for a second. It was the only way I could get out of Freddy's hellbent world. I laughed to myself, but quickly stopped. I wanted to get fired not go to prison, how could I get away with murder? I put the mask back on, as it would hide my identity if anybody came in.

I sat down to think, but soon I felt a drop of water from the pipes fall onto the shoulder of my suit. My heart started racing, spring locks aren't supposed to get wet. I felt a sharp stab in my shoulder, "Great, just when I was about to be free." I said to myself sarcastically. I looked up, for about half a second I swear I saw those children. Then I saw them again, but this time they didn't disappear. It was probably because I was losing blood, I was hallucinating. I laughed at them, they couldn't get me, they were dead!

That's when the rest of the spring locks decided to snap, all at once. I screamed my lungs out for what felt like hours, but had probably only been five minutes. I screamed for help, but it was no use, blood was filling in my throat, so it sounded like a gargle. Then my vocal cords snapped, literally, the spring locks severed them. Now I couldn't scream, and I was too injured to move. I just sat there, slowly dying. It was the only thing I could do.
