I stared into the darkness. i felt like i needed to be awake, even though i was tired. i felt a knife being pushed into my back. i screamed, grabbing my gun from my side table and shot randomly in the dark. Sky came running in and turned on the light. my window was broken, wind blowing the black curtains around. i fell back onto my bed and sighed. the knife was gone. now there was just a red, bleeding wound. Sky grabbed the phone and called someone. i passed out due to blood loss.

"Thank you SO much Roxy!" i heard Sky say.
"Nah, its ok. kin helps kin." Roxy said.

where have i heard this name before this? Omg, Roxy! my best friend from childhood! i tried to sit up, and i did. they both looked surprised. my back hurt badly. i looked around, Roxy came up and hugged me. i hugged her back. someone came in, a girl i wanted to always be friends with. Kat. she sat at the edge of my bad and offered me some tea. i took it, grateful. i didn't like coffee much either. man, she can make some good tea!! we became friends and sky left, except Kat and Roxey didn't. one guarded the door and the other guarded the window. i was dead tired from all of this, and i felt safer with them around.

i avoided everyone. no one tried to stop me. i went out to the field even though it was pouring. i needed to practice. Call Of The Pack was something i needed now more than ever. i heard someone talking and turned wolf, slinking in the shadows. it was Rei, a former gangmaster. but he was talking to someone i knew...
Jasper. Jasper betrayed me. James was right. i did regret trusting him.
