I walked back into the hall, my friends were just ahead. they weren't any closer. Still far away... I started running, they started to. Kat pulled out her knife and threw it, trying to pin my jacket. She missed. i looked at the floor, i was running as fast as i could. i jumped and hit the floor. it cracked under me, bringing darkness. i fell, and the las thing i saw was Kat.... with Midnight trying to push her in!!!
"KAT! WATCH OUT!!"
it was to late, she fell in. we fell and hit the floor.
(Kat's pov)
I ran, Chloe was about to fall. i gripped my knife and threw it. it ripped her shirt a little. but i missed it. i hit the deck next to the hole. i heard a growl. i turned, Midnight whas next to me. i saw her lunge, and pushed me in!!
