Tobys POV:

" Are w-we close?" I asked BEN.

"Almost Toby," replied Puppeteer.

"Hey, she should be right here." BEN whispered to him pointing to the direction.

Excitedly I ran to it but and I saw her but she was hugging me?

Oh, no. My demon.

She looked like she was going to say something.

"Wait, Zero told me you were-." she was cut off.

That unfaithful demon of mine kissed her and instead of releasing she let him do it. I was so shocked that I didn't move a muscle.

"W-why don'-t-t we g-go with th-e-e other-s?" he said.
"Yeah we should before we get caught."

And like that they left.

"Toby," BEN said," I'm sorry."

I ignored him. It wasn't her fault he was tricking her.

"We need-d to save everyon-e now."

Readers POV:

Toby and I walked to the group that was on castle duty. Once we met up all the shadow guards were done with.

" Hey, guys I found Toby," I said.

Our friends looked at us and cheered.

"Wait where's the others, Toby?" Zero asked


Slenderman's P.O.V.

"They went to see if the others needed any help," he said.

That doesn't sound like them, Slenderman thought, There is something off about you. You seem a bit different.

"Really? They don't usually help out that much."
"Well, Slen-der you know how unpredictable they can be."
"Yes, of course."
"Yeah, they really are weird."

You are not who you say you are. I sense a weird interest in you.

Reader's P.O.V.

It was really odd that  BEN and The Puppeteer would go and do that but I guess that they do have a soft spot when times get rough.

''Okay, so since they are helping other groups who are struggling let us go and round them up so we can leave this hell hole.''

It didn't take long for us to get the CPs together and get going. But the weird thing was that I didn't see Puppeteer and BEN. I really didn't know what to think. It seemed really strange that they would leave. I mean, they would've stayed by Toby and helped him find me along with others. Something isn't right.

I look at Toby and he looks back at me.

"What?" he says
"Nothing, you just seem different."
" Everythings different her-e"
"What is that supposed to mean?"

Before he can answer me we heard a crash. I turn around and I see, Toby?

Toby's POV.

I start running heading towards the group and I feel something jumps on me. I fall down and look up its Lazuri. She's in complete panic. Before I can even ask her what's wrong (y/n) looks at me and then at my demon.

"HE'S COMING!" Lazuir shouts.

We both get up followed by Puppeteer and BEN we run to the group but I don't see my demon.

Reader's POV

I stood frozen in place not knowing what to do. His demon was with me and I didn't even get a chance to fight him he teleported us both to the death tunnel. I turn around and Zalgo is standing six feet in front of me. My heart beating fast and feeling the anger in me I held up both my hands and with the bright red flames in hand. The CPs come in beside me and get into their fighting positions. We all run towards each other screaming and laughing. It is so chaotic all of us here together bloodthirsty to kill him and his army of shadows.

I float up and start shooting towards the shadows but, I only want to end him and he well knows that. Fighting my way towards him I hear the CPs yelping and groaning in pain. This is way too much for me. I don't want to lose the family that loves me. I look at Zalgo and he smirks.

He starts fighting his way over to me and before I can even react he grabs me by the throat.

" I can sense your pain." he snarls." I know well enough you don't want them to die. Just give it up."

I look at him and tear up not because I was in pain but because I knew he was right.

He releases me and throws and to the ground.

"I will on one condition." I coughed out
" I'm listening."
"Spare them."
"Deal," he says.

In a blink of an eye, his shadows disappear leaving nothing but dust. I hear the CPs cheering but it ends after I use the air element and push them towards the exit. I then use my power to hold up an invisible barrier to keep them out. I see them looking at me in confusion and Toby with a heartbroken look, Jane and Clockwork tears rolling down their face along with EJ and Masky crying.  I look at Zalgo and see him cackling.

" What a very brave choice," he says

"Yes, a very brave and stupid choice," I mumble feeling burning hot sensation on my left right again and a fire bang to my head.
