Noooo!!!!

“Father look!” I screamed in dismay as a crowd of villagers approached the family. The three princes and the warrior Gareth sprang into action. With the sound of metal against metal they took out their swords and tried to stop the mob as we ran. I could hear the sound of metal against metal. The princes were winning! I couldn't help but be happy until I notice that my sister was running to help her lover.
He was wounded, a deep gash in the side of his leg. I helped Linnet carry him into the castle. I could see my sister’s care for him in her eyes. She was quite obviously about to cry because she loved him and didn’t want anything to happen to him.
Meanwhile Linnet and I were hard at work helping protecting the castle from another mob. The next mob was coming fast, strong and infuriated because of the kings laws. They fought hard, so hard that our own guards couldn’t hold them back even with weapons that were built to kill. Yet the mob overpowered us with simple farm tools.
They burst into the throne room where we were. I changed into my dragon form and flew in front of our father. I wrapped my wings around him. I heard the twang of a bow string and then I felt the sting of the arrow that punched through my wing. I cringe in pain as I felt my father’s body fall against my wing. I pull away letting his body rest on the floor. Linnet ran to her father. She turned and shot the man with another bow she had found on the floor by the body of a deceased guard. More guards ushered us into the safe tower and locked us in. We cried and cried. We were not prepared for what had happened. I could hear the door close to one of the dungeon cells for they were very loud.
“Princess, they are in the dungeon right now.” The guard explained.
“They must be hanged for their crimes!” I asked
“As you wish princess.” says the guard shouting to one of his partners. We ran to the execution yard and take our place of honor above the crowd.

I never liked it when people were hung, but these people killed my father.
The guard threw down the floor, and they were done. We went back to the castle to continue preparations for the wedding.
