Writing Prompts

Just some prompts for writing... mostly horror bc I have a dark mind but whatever. Feel free to use them and if you create a story based off of one tag me so I can read it :) DISCLAIMER for those of you who do not know what the difference between horror and thriller is, thriller requires more background information and usually has more of a creepy vibe because it has a slow build up and lots of details that not many people want to know. Horror is more of a gore and blood fest and doesn’t require much detail.

The Doll House

Genre: Thriller/Horror (depends on where you take the story)

A girl who is 7 years old moves to a new home in the middle of nowhere and discovers a doll house in her attic which is an exact replica of the home. She finds out that she can see everything happening in the house by looking in the dollhouse (e. Sees her mom cooking dinner in the doll house which is what her mom is actually doing downstairs) she one day goes up and sees herself looking into the doll house in the attic and behind her is a doll. She turns around to see if the doll is actually there, but it isn’t. She turns back to the dollhouse to see it in the corner of the room.....
