Another World

The Plondok

I left the globe and found a shady spot to sit under a metI've l tree with glass leaves. "So ths must be  he park of their world." Wow. I slid the disk out and examined it. It was like a phone, but crazier. It was made of a thin piece of cool metal, most likely steel, and a layer of glass fit perfectly on it. I tapped the screen. No response. Suddenly, a female voice blared from it. "Hello, Silver. Welcome to Luxuria, Academy of the future. I am powered by voice. Try it out. Talk to me." It was obviously a   robotic voice, yet it had a warm tone to it.
"Hi. This is Silver. This is my voice."
I smiled.
"Hello. Please do not talk to me in a robotic voice. It does not sound very nice." I laughed. For the next couple minutes, we chatted and talked about school. I heard light footsteps from behind. Startled, I swerved around to face Dawn.
"Hey. Figured out how to work your thing?" she winked and brushed a strand of hair out of  her eyes. "Yeah."
My device said "What a evil girl. Let's get rid of her. I can teach you a few insu-"
I cut it off and glared at it. " Dawn is my friend. Don't you ever dare say that again." "Sorry Silver. Dawn. Year one. Friend. Saved. I've just programmed that." I nodded my acceptance and turned to face Dawn.
"I haven't figured out how to use this thing yet." Dawn pulled her disk.
"Oh, I'll help you with that."
She smiled. "Meanwhile why don't we go to the Plondok?" Obviously confused, I questioned about its existence. As it turns out, the Plondok was a building where the ultimate makeovers were done. She guided my gaze to a glass scraper that spiraled into the clouds.  We headed that way.

Also, I'm on vacation, my Internet has been terrible, and I've been writing offline,  then copy and paste ing the whole thing, and ON MY PHONE. It is absolutely hardwork. Anyways, connection to the Web is bad, so I can't attach a pic. But when I have the chance, I will. The next chapter might be in a while, a long while. Like a month even. Sorry for the hold!
