Wendy's Promise (Dipper's P.O.V)
Dipper's Personal Entry #3June 27, 2016
Mabel and I walked up onto the roof of The Mystery Shack, looking for Wendy. We found her up at the sign, fixing the "S". "Wendy" I said.
"Sup, guys?", She said, looking over her shoulder. "Up to anything?"
"How much did you see?" Mabel asked. She sighed. And turned.
"Everything, all of it, from the moment it got wrong. But sometimes wrong can be right." she smiled a little devious grin. I didn't trust it.
"Promise not to tell about us?" I asked. She nodded. "Thank you, Wendy. You're the best."
"No problem, guys," she said. We turned to leave when Wendy said, "Bill was here earlier.... he said he had another plot to take over the world... but he needed a vessel..."
"Bill? I thought he was destroyed."
"Not destroyed, banished to the Mindscape." said a gruff voice behind me. I turned and saw Grunkle Ford.
"So, he's back? And pissed off?" he nodded.
"We need to stop him before he can put his plan into motion."
"I'll do it," I said, determined.
"Do what? Stop me, Pine Tree?" I turned and saw the floating yellow triangle with a bow tie, top hat, and one eye that I despised.
"Bill." I jumped at him and so did Mabel. I wanted to scream at her for doing it, but a second later, the Shack was gone, and we were in an opening in an unfamilliar forest. I face planted in the dirt, and I heard a muffled crack as Mable landed on a leaf covered rock, knocking her unconscious. I yelled for her. Bill laughed. At that moment, something in me snapped. I felt... different... powerful... I never felt such hatred... Bill hurt one of the only people I loved... he had to pay... I stood.
"What are you doing? You know you can't defeat me. Just sit back down!" he cackled as he shot a ball of blue fire at me. I moved out of the way with speed that I didn't know I had. In an instant, I was in front of him, grabbing his tie. There must have been something in my look that scared him because his eye dilated. "Kid, just stop, you can't beat me. No one can!" in the reflection of his cat eye, I saw my look. Wide, crazy eyes, face in a look of pure psychotic rage. I smiled and laughed.
"You hurt Mabel. You have to pay!" I shouted as I started beating him into a pulp, hitting his eye, his arms, his body. I don't know how long I was doing that, but soon my knuckles were bleeding. I got tired all of a sudden, but not before punching him in his eye with all my strength. He howled in pain and rage. I did it. I won. A blast of energy sent my backwards, some rocks piercing my skin, leaving me bleeding on the ground where I landed. Soon, I was surrounded in a pool of my blood. I sat up to see Bill dying, anger in his eye. He shoved his hand into my chest. He was trying to take over without a contract. It took all of my willpower to force him out. I saw him fly back and disappear. I smiled. I looked down. I was covered in black tendrils. I howled in pain as I was enveloped in blue fire. I floated up. I heard Mabel scream my name in worry. That was all I heard before I died in a blast of light.
