Journey of the lost

As I sniff the air
Looking for the one I adore
I do not find the scent I had hoped for
But I stay perfectly aware

I hope that some day
We will reunite
Our love was too bright
To just throw away

Is that it?
My dearest one?
My journey has just begun
But my path is lit

I have found my love!
The one and only!
The only one to steal my heart!
