Eclipse

I look into your sparkling eyes
As you arms snake around my waist
Together in haste
We soar into the skies

Our breath mingles
As you ever so gently kiss my awaiting lips
Together we are the eclipse
This is only a symbol

But much too soon
We pull apart
As we walk the paths we memorized by heart
As we attune

For you are the sun
And I am the moon
Here in the afternoon
But you are my loved one
