Dr. Beth
I banged on Howard's door. "Howard!" I yelled. Howard opened the door. "What could you possibly want in the middle of the night Cunningham?" He asked. He looked at my arm. "And what happened?""It was that ninja chick." I answered. I looked at my arm and saw that I was bleeding badly. "Come on! Beth's dad is a doctor." Howard said. He lead me to Beth's house and climbed over a fence. "Come on Cunningham." Howard whispered. I climbed over the fence and saw Beth there. "What do you want Howard?" She asked. "Do you think you can fix this?" Howard asked showing her my bleeding arm. She looked at my arm. "It's pretty deep, but I think I can."
"Great! Thanks Beth. You are truly the greatest." Howard said. She went inside and came out with a first aid kit. "Please, have a seat. This might take awhile." She said. I sat in one of the lawn chairs. "I'm going to need you to take off your jacket Randy." She said. I took off my jacket revealing a huge cut. She pulled out a towel and wrapped it around my arm. She got a little blood on her orange shirt that was way too big for her, but she didn't care. The bleeding stopped and she pulled out a needle. "W-What's that for?" I asked. She laughed. "Don't worry about it. I'm just going to stich up your wound. You won't feel a thing." She said. "Have you done this before?" I asked. She nodded. "I won't do it if you don't want me to." She said. For some strange reason, I trusted her. "Ok." I said. She handed me a ball. "What's this for?"
"I squeeze it when I get scared or when something hurts." She said. I took the ball and waited for her. She started to stich up the cut and it didn't even hurt that bad. "Done." She said stepping back. I looked at the stich and back at Beth. "Thanks Beth. I don't know what I would do without you." I said. She blushed and smiled at me. "Anytime, just don't play with sharp things." She said. I got up and gave her a hug. Howard stood there laughing. Beth's face turned red. "What was that for?" She asked. "For helping me." I said. I picked up my jacket and waved goodbye to Beth.
