"I-I need to tell you something." He said. He sighed and frowned. "Beth... they're afraid that she wont make it."
"WHAT?!" I asked. "She has too!" I yelled. Howard help up a rose that Beth gave me and it was brown. "Brown mean dying. The rose is, like, connected to Beth's life source." He said. A pedal fell and me and Howard started to tear up. "But, it wont be the same without her."
"I know Cunningham, I know." Howard said. "Cant I talk to her, one last time?" I asked. We looked at the nurse and she nodded. They helped me into a wheelchair and Howard pushed me into Beth's room. Beth laid there in her bed motionless. "Beth?" I asked. Howard pushed me closer to her and left the room. "R-Randy?" She asked softly. I held her hand and she started to open here (Just barely though) "Are, are you okay?" She asked quietly. "Yes, you?" I asked. She groaned and closed her eyes. "To be honest... I d-don't think I'll... make it." She answered quietly. I tried as hard as I could to hold back from crying, but Beth somehow knew that. "D-Don't be sad for me." She said softly. "At least... I get to spend my last hours... with you."
"But mine wont be with you." I said. "You're... the ninja, this... shouldn't be the hardest thing for you." She said. "But it is." I argued. "It's just me... I wont make fun of you for crying." She said. "Times up." A nurse said walking in. I nodded and Howard came in. "Bye Bethy." I said. Howard started to push me towards the door, but stopped. "Randy." Beth said. Howard turned around and the heart monitor started to go off. "Beth!" He yelled. Doctors came running in and kicked me and Howard out.
