Frozen (plot hole number one)

When Anna punches Hans, why did everyone clap? No one else knows about his treachery. Sure they know he tried to kill Elsa when Anna froze but all they knew was 1- somehow Anna was alive and 2- he tried to kill Elsa. Ok now on number two, he tries to kill Elsa nut all they know is Elsa stuck Anna and killed her, so even if Hans tried to kill Elsa they wouldn't even know about what he did.
