The Lion King (plot hole number one)

Are Simba and Nala half siblings? I mean how many male lions do we see throughout the movie? Like none right, sure we saw Scar and Mufasa and Simba, but last time I checked they all were related... So what I'm trying to say here is Simba and Nala could be related.
