Fire Plants

Fire plants are plants from the Fire element.

Rose

Roses look ordinary, but inside each one lives a fairy. They are so tiny that they are invisible to the naked eye. There is a recipe to be able to see them: one rose petal, crushed and a teaspoon of crushed red pepper. Mix those together in a fire-safe bowl and hold the bowl over a fire/oven for ten seconds. When that is done, eat the mixture. Some fairies will still be too small to see, but there is the rare chance that you will be able to see at least one. They will grant you one fire opal and a phoenix feather if you ask them to.


Autumn Leaves

If you take three autumn leaves - one red, one orange, and one yellow - and hold them up to the sun, all together, there's the small chance that you will catch a glimpse of a map. It is said that, long ago, fairies hid pieces of maps to dragon lairs on maple leaves. One of the leaves was red, one was yellow, and one was orange. If you held all three up to a light at the same time, you would see the full map. No one has found the right leaves yet.
