Chapter 1

“Vienna, it’s time for school. I’ll see you there!” Vienna’s roommate, Rei, told her. Vienna grabbed a big bag of Doritos and ran out the door. ¨Shoot! I’m late! I better take the shortcut. I wish I had a bike like Rei does…” Vienna thought as she started heading to the school woods. She then heard hushed voices and proceeded to hide behind the trees. The hushed voices were getting farther and then suddenly something grabbed Vienna. There was a faint scent of cherry blossoms and Vienna immediately knew it was a girl. “Ugh- stop budging Hunt.” The girl grunted. Then a male came and said, “Just use the poison!” “Stop telling me what to do, Cox.” the same girl voice groaned, then Vienna fell to the ground.

As Vienna fell, Nicki and Brandon looked up. There stood their leader Cantu..(You’ll see why)  “Hi Cantu.” Brandon says. “I see you’re still short.” Nicki chuckled. Cantu only raised his hand and explosions appeared in front of them. Nicki did something and jumped back. Brandon flew out of the way. Then Cantu walked to Vienna and teleported to his dorm room with her.   “Danggg. I ship it,” Nicki smirked as she devised a plan to get them together. “Don’t think about it Nicki.” Noah said as he appeared. “Did you defeat the hero?” He said. ¨Which one? There’s so many! Hehehe¨ Nicki joked. “Come on Nicki, stop joking...Be serious!” Brandon says. A shadow appeared over Nicki, Brandon, and Noah. ¨Where is Cantu, I need to talk to him...¨ Xena said. ¨He is with Vienna at his dorm room. By the way, I have a question… Do you ship them, Xena?¨ Nicki said. “Well, it depends…” “Depends on what?” Noah asked. Xena shrugs and walks away, Brandon follows.

*to Xena* “Does anyone know?” “I don't think so, but how would I know?” “Good point… have you seen Rylie? She has been missing, I didn’t see her yesterday…” “Hm, that's strange. We can look for her after school today,” Xena said. “ Look for who after school?” Noah jumped in. Brandon and Xena shared a startled look as they tried to come up with a convincing lie they could tell Noah. “Uh, er well, we re going to go find Trevor for Cantu after school today. He said he had BIG plans for him,” Brandon lied. “Oh… Cantu never told me that... Need any help?” Noah replied with a smirk. “ Nah, we got it Loomis. Just stick to your tasks.” Brandon said. “ Are you sure you two don’t need any help? Lately I’ve been doing all the work for you Cox… and I’ve heard Trevor can be quite the handful at times,” Noah said. “Oh and by the way… I’ve seen that you’ve been much more… friendly... around McCullough these days. Care to share?” Noah said with an evil smirk. Brandon cast his eyes down and Xena shot Noah a dirty look. “Shove off Loomis! He’s doing what Cantu asked him to do. If he’s friendly with McCullough than he can learn some of Vienna’s secrets! Also, I think YOU have a crush on her Loomis. Got divided loyalties?”
