The first message
Being a teenager sucks! Over the top amounts of homework, soul crushing studying and pressure to live an amazing life. I just wanted to get away from it for a while. I sat at my laptop went to a popular social network site and set up a new account.Unlike the others, the guy in the pictures wasn't me but who I wanted to be. The cool guy with tons of friends and the perfect relationship. I started posting statuses and other pics until some girl messaged me. I hadn't ever met her in real or anything but she sent me a message saying hello like you would to start a conversation. I looked at her profile and not only did she look cute, but she also had the confidence and intellect to back it up. She was perfect. After a couple of messages I froze as I read the newest to our conversation. "Is it really you in the photos?" Of course when I came to I sent her a reply saying it was but only because I feared what she would think if I had told her the truth. I was in a sticky situation. I couldn't come clean now.
As time passed the messages became flirty and we decided to become a couple. The feelings I shared were true but she seemed focused more on my looks than anything else. We remained like this for a while and things were going great. We talked about our future together and having a family when we grew up a bit.
She wanted to meet in real and it was a serious mistake replying with yes but if I had turned her down I would have ruined the relationship. She would have found out it wasn't me. I waited until the day we were going to meet up and messaged her that I couldn't make it because of a family emergency. I had dodged a bullet this time. This happened a couple of times and then she stopped asking. If only she knew.
